If you are in the area, this is the spot to hit. Forgot the fact that there are not many Hawaiian BBQ restaurants near this area, the staff are absolutely a pleasure and joy to interact with. Food was fresh and made on the spot. It did not take long to make either. Definitely make a trip here and often.
Place is located in a shopping center so parking might be tight when it's busy. Customer service was friendly. Food was great and portions were generous. We ordered Chicken Katsu, Kalua Pork, and Katsu Chicken & Beef to go. The kids loved the Katsu chicken. Wife loved the Kalua pork. The beef was tender and flavorful. The Katsu sauce was good but the teriyaki sauce looked almost like soy sauce because it wasn't thick. It wasn't a big deal because I have teriyaki sauce at home. Overall, the food was great + bang for your buck. A must try. I've included pictures of current menus as I wasn't able to find them in reviews.
The girl at the counter was friendly and attentive. She was taking on both phone orders and orders in the counter like a champ.
The food took only a few minutes to come out. The place is small and only has a few tables, but most of the orders were carry out
We ordered the Loco Moco which comes with 2 patties and eggs. It was a great meal at a very reasonable price. Will stop by again next time I'm in the area.
This is one of if not the best Hawaiian places I’ve gotten food from. The quality of their food as well as the sheer quantity they give for the price is just perfect. I still need to try their other menu options but the Katsu and Chicken are great. You also can’t really see it but there is cabbage salad included under.
me my husband and son love this place best house rice out there and there Hawaiian drinks r incredible. good prices fast service ladys working always have a smile and are so sweet . I'm constantly recommending this place to my customers at the hotel I work at.
Food was very good and staff was very helpful in providing information to help me find something to eat to accommodate a dairy allergy. I'd never had Hawaiian food before this. We got Loco Moco, Short ribs, Spam masubi, and spring rolls. All were very good!
If you like authentic Hawaiian food. This a good spot.

2 orders of Chicken Katsu Curry came with hair in each order.
1 order of chicken teriyaki had hair.
1 side of macaroni salad had a nice long black hair.
Occasionally getting hair happens so I took the hair out of macaroni salad and 1 curry. But having it in all the food can be extravagant. 2 pictures included with them circled.

Great Hawaiian BBQ place in Moorpark! We got the family meal with BBQ chicken, katsu chicken, and crispy shrimp, and it also came with white rice, and macaroni salad. It was a lot of food for a family of five, well worth it! I liked the BBQ chicken and katsu chicken the best, the shrimp was ok. Macaroni salad was really good, and the white rice was fine. If you're in Moorpark, go check it out, you won't be disappointed!
