First time I was ordering at Yummy Crab (Washington Street Location). I ordered one pound of crab and hush puppies using UberEats. FYI for each half-pound, it is two potatoes and one mini corn cob. So I should have two clusters, four potatoes, and two mini corn on the cob. I open it go to eat and realize this isn't one pound of crab, only one cluster, so I weigh the crab that comes up just shy of half a pound. I do not care for the potatoes, but there was five and two mini corn on the cob. I have eaten one leg, so that would have taken it to half a pound. But, still doesn't explain where the other half pound has gone. I call the restaurant; I tell them what has happened. The lady asks for my name. Now ask yourself would you have given your first or last name if you were asked. I gave my last. The lady said no one has ordered by that name. I review the receipt, state the server's name, and see at the top of the order is my first name. So I say the order is under Jackie. She asked for pictures, which I did. She then told me that she asked the kitchen if they gave me a pound of crab. You are telling me that the kitchen remembered that individual order and could say without any doubt they put the correct weight of crab in the bag. No way! Because if they had, I wouldn't be calling you on the phone taking pictures while my dinner gets cold. Only to be accused of being dishonest. I just paid $44.47 + 20% tip(8.89). Why would I lie. Why would anyone lie. I love crab. I wanted a pound of crab. I never complain, and I have had some awful, awful food and incorrect orders. But, I was so angry to be accused of lying I had to make a complaint. To add insult to injury, when I return to eat my dinner, it is cold and tasted fishy. The crab should not taste fishy. If I could give a zero I would.
Absolutely delicious... Large Portions great service...Very Clean... Family Atmosphere... a little pricey but is expected it's sea food...try the #2...
I haven't tried the food yet but I'm going to have to give it a 3 for the smell alone. Walking in there's this awful smell the only way I can explain it is that it smells like stale eggs. I wanted to sit down but couldn't. My husband and I really wanted to try this place so we placed our order and went outside to wait for it to get done and we will take it home. Will update after we try it.
Delivered nice and hot. Fried chicken still crispy and moist inside. Seafood boil bag double bagged to prevent leaks. Quality of food good. Generous portions. Pricey but for all the variety not bad. Definitely will order again. I kept my 1st order kinda of plain but will get more adventurous next time.
A waste of money! Where to start, the seafood was definitely not cleaned. The potatoes were over cooked. Honestly I think they were old as well. The Cajun season was salty. This is ridiculous considering the price I paid. This definitely isn’t the place to go for seafood.
I just had the best, most flavorful meal that I've had in a long time. We went to the Yummy Crab on the east side of Indy. It was our first time there. I had 1/2 lb of peel and eat shrimp (with no heads), corn, and very yummy red potatoes. The potatoes just melted in my mouth. I chose garlic butter flavoring and not spicey as my heat level. We ordered hush puppies too. My husband had the scallops and he enjoyed his meal too.

Sever was great! I've had her every time I've come in....and every time she makes sure you get what you want and takes the time explain anything on the menu. I wish I knew her name but I always give her a good tip because she makes sure you are taken care of
Ordered a to go meal Sunday. Now, I’m not a potatoes expert but I don’t think your potatoes is supposed to look like this. I ordered it Sunday, put it in the refrigerator, and ate it Monday. 3 stars because they gave me extra potatoes and it gave me diarrhea.
