Kelli offered us a popular mixed drink. It was so good! Kelli has really made Yum's so bright & inviting! I wish I had time to get her tuna tacos. If you're ever on Grand Isle at Yum's, you have to try her TUNA TACO'S! AMAZING!
Yums says it all! We were very impressed by the kitchen. Busy as heck but the kitchen put out quality food and fast. Highly recommend, buffalo wings they were very delicious. Very friendly staff. We will be back. Thank you for a great lunch and keep up the great work.
Their delightful local customers were so friendly! The owners, Miss Kelly and Miss Leoda, were so welcoming. The food was delicious! I came for lunch and had the seared tuna salad (great flavor and just the right amount of greens and goodies) then I came back for dinner because they told me they just got fresh oysters. She only serves fresh seafood that’s caught here by locals. Tonight I had the oysters, half raw and half char broiled and they were the freshest, tastiest seafood I’ve had on this beautiful island. The space is clean and cheerful. Enough room for groups of six and a small bar to belly up and watch the TVs if that’s your thing. The staff are super sweet and happy to help. Plus cocktails, beer, juke box, video poker, and TVs for your enjoyment. Best spot on Grand Isle.
The place is very yummy! Like, super yummy! The name does it justice! I had a very delicious sandwich made with fajita chicken. It was incredible! My friend had a wrap! We also ordered duck bites as an appetizer. Pretty tasty! They also have a great selection of flavored coffees.
The only reason this wasn't a 5 star review is that they were not taking any precautions for Covid-19. Even stranger still is that the entire town (all places we've seen) behaves as if there isn't a virus. We were glad we ate here and we wouldn't have if it had been more crowded. I wish more people would protect others and do the right thing!
Tried Yums today for lunch. The staff were super friendly and the food was tasty! I had the corn and crab chowder and Caesar salad both which were great. My wife had the shrimp tacos which I tried and those were also tasty as well! Today was Sunday and they close at 2 not 3 like GMB says, so they need to update this on their GMB cause we almost didn’t make it by 2. Anyway great food and friendly staff! We would definitely eat here again!
We were hoping for fresh shrimp, but it sure didn’t taste fresh. The French fries were less than stellar and we left most of them on the plate.
The angler salad was full of grilled tuna and grilled shrimp. Tuna tacos were delicious also. What a great restaurant!
Had a great time here. Stopped for a few drinks and appetizers. Lots of great food and atmosphere.
