Yuk Dae Jang truly hits the mark for Korean food aficionados. From the moment you walk in, the enticing scent of sizzling meats and spices sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The real star of the show here is undoubtedly the Bossam dish—an absolute triumph of tender pork belly, expertly marinated, and served alongside an assortment of crisp, fresh vegetables. Every bite is a flavor explosion, with the succulent meat practically melting in your mouth and the accompanying sides adding layers of complexity. The cozy ambiance only enhances the overall charm, making Yuk Dae Jang the perfect destination for a memorable meal with loved ones.
We got the braised premium beef ribs and it was excellent. The service was incredible as well. We had to take some food to go and the owner even offered to pack us some extra banchan to take home. Truly an amazing experience and I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone!!
I have to give a huge shoutout to the yuk dae jang Buena Park!!
My favorite was definitely the Bossam and cold noodle!! The meat was So chewy and delicious, and the noodle was perfectly cooked!!

Summer edition: The best, the best korean cold noodle soup you can find in Buena Park if not the whole OC, hot weather approved! Two thumbs up! Try it! The bancham are simple but delicious as well, and their kimchi? Yum!!
The 4 of us got a Small Bo Ssam, a Yukgaejang Kalguksoo and an original Kalguksoo (which they ordered Kalguksoo on the side after, which was a full serving for $4).
We all got full and the yukgaejang was bomb! The Bo Ssam was good for a place that doesn't specialize in that. The yukgaejang broth had a good kick to it!
The banchan was yummy! Kimchi was tasty and nicely fermented, odeng (fish cake) was delicious as always, and chives were good.
I absolutely love this place!
My husband and I eat here at least once a week!
