Okay, starting at the top.
The Thai chili calamari is AMAZING. I can't remember a time I had calamari that fresh. It was incredible.
One dish is the seafood trifecta with seasonal veggies and mashed potatoes - delicious! The scallops were nice and fat, the lump crab was fresh and complemented perfectly, and the shrimp was large and juicy. The three were sitting in a bowl of butter with some seasonings....so good.
The other dish is Cajun blackened halibut with asparagus and Mexicali Street corn. The fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The asparagus was fresh and the street corn was tasty...but even better mixed with the mashed potatoes lol.
We ordered a bottled of the Joshua Cellars Cabernet which complemented perfectly.
We happened to come after work and were not dressed for outdoor dining, but that is no fault of the restaurant - they had some heaters, just be mindful before you go.
Lastly, our waitress was Felicia and she was wonderful! She was on it, friendly, attentive, but not overbearing. She had a busy section and that girl did not skip a bit.
We cannot wait to come back!
Great food, wonderful atmosphere! Kandace was absolutely great! Sorry about the bites in the key lime pie, we got anxious! This is a go to place! It should be noted that we were directed here by Fr Michael Joly of St Joan of Arc Parish in Yorktown! Thank you Father for the culinary insight from a foodie!
Since I was in Virginia I wanted to try some delicious crab and seafood. I ordered the crab and shrimp seafood boil with andouille sausage. Everything was delicious especially the wings. The seafood boil wasn’t as well seasoned as I expected but the garlic butter made up for it. The key lime pie is tasty and our server was very kind. The prices are average for seafood.
The atmosphere is absolutely stunning. I love that they offer inside, outside and upstairs (outdoor) dining. The service was outstanding and the views were incredible. Sarah and Steven were absolutely wonderful!
Beautiful setting on the water. The krabby balls were excellent. The crab dip was pretty good, the gouda cheese was a bit overpowering. The grilled shrimp tacos however were terrible. Absolutely zero flavor! The waitress was nice but not very attentive so service was slow, took a long time to get the check but the food came out nice & hot. Would definitely go back & try some of the other highly recommended menu items & their drinks menu too. All fairly priced considering it's seafood, on the water & the portions are generous.
My wife and I sat at the upstairs bar overlooking the marina. It had a very pretty view, and the bartender was very personable and gave great suggestions. The local oysters were great! My wife tried the gumbo; It was spicy and seasoned perfectly! The Bang Bang shimp were exceptionally good also. We will definitely be back!
First, the food was great! The service, however, not so great. It took a really long time to get served once we were seated. We ordered drinks, apps, and the kids food at first. Drinks came out soon. Then about 20 minutes later, our dinner orders were taken. But still no apps or kids food. Our adult dinners then came out about 10 minutes later BEFORE everything else. We shared our fries with our starving kids until their meals and our appetizers finally came out. The food itself was very good. However it was just a mess getting it. I will probably try this place again eventually, but not again on a busy Saturday afternoon.
As always the food was amazing. We had thr Little Neck Clams as an appetizer. I had fried oysters and Shrimp for lunch. The oysters were so big and delicious!
