Amazing food!!! I love dining in here. The service is timely and the food portions are huge. My favorite is the hibachi shrimp, but their homemade rolls are delicious too! I introduced my mom and my sister to this spot and now it’s their favorite spot

I come to Yoshi's all the time after work! The staff is quick and very nice! Great quality sushi and hibachi! Please refer to the picture to appreciate the presentation of my dessert!

I just recently moved to Woodbridge at the end of October 2023 - my boyfriend and I are big sushi people and have tried so many places all over NJ. This small family owned business is by far the best sushi restaurant we’ve been to. 10/10 service is wonderful, staff is extremely friendly, food is delicious, and it has been an overall wonderful experience. We went two nights in a row that’s how much we love it! Nicole is especially the best and the sweetest!
What do I say about this place! I don’t know where to begin, but let me try. After a rough start to his birthday, my husband and I decided to have his favorite, sushi! Yoshi was very close and we decided to head there for the first time. We were welcomed by the lovely Nicole (I hope I heard the name right) She started telling us about the special Salmon they had, and how they prepare a side dish from the Salmon belly area that was so tender and buttery. We opted for that and for the rolls which were served really quickly and were fresh and just delicious! The side (which I unfortunately didn’t catch the name of) was super special and delicious and super worth it like Nicole described. We were very thankful for the recommendation. We also had the shrimp tempura which came with sweet and sour sauce that did not disappoint. And Finally they absolutely brightened my husband’s day with a complimentary birthday treat (fried ice-cream) that was so yummy. The staff are very friendly, the place is clean and has a lovely decor/ambience. They go above and beyond and their food is fresh and tasteful. I highly recommend this place, you won’t regret!

Most amazing sushi, flavors, food and experience EVER! I rarely, if ever, write reviews but my wife and I have lived all over the country beginning in So Cal west coast all the way to east coast, North and South zig zagged in between including several top metropolitan areas and can attest to Yoshi having the best sushi and home environment of all time! They deserve more than a review. Confident Gordon Ramsay would lick the plates, as we do. Since our first visit we have been coming here once a week for the last three months since moving to New Jersey. This was aligned with the timing of ownership change. Nicole serves us, her husband is a top sushi chef from Brooklyn, her brother his excelled apprentice, and the rest of the staff is just as dialed in. The sauces, flavors, structure, and pure attention to detail demonstrate the love, care and passion they put into their art. They put people first and are committed to providing the most amazing care and experience. Not only are they BYOB, they encourage it (we were hesitant on our first visit bringing in a few bottles lol). They will make sure whatever you bring is going to add appreciation to compliment your meal and experience; you will be offered an ice bucket for your wine or beer, shaker for your vodka martini, ceramic clask for your saki while heating it if you’d like, AND correct glassware associated with with anything you bring! Truly amazing and we have found our new home! A place like this is SO rare these days, seriously the best and our hearts sing for Yoshi to wind down our bust work week on a Friday or Saturday. Nicole will turn up the music a bit in the late evening (if it’s ok with current clientele and environment) and we have an absolute blast. Yoshi is a must visit! I also must admit we’ve broken down during the week dreaming of the flavors and ordered delivery or take out as a guilt pleasure! We just can’t get enough. Great sushi and wonderful staff. Love the atmosphere. Staff welcomed us with generosity and was very quick to serve the food. Definitely a one of the best services and food I ever had. Definitely going to be back.
