The atmosphere was very nice. We got taken into a semi private room. I ordered one of the combos with sushi and udon. Side dishes tasted great. I really enjoyed the cucumber picked side dish but a warning that it is a bit spicy. The udon was spot on and delicious! Sushi was too but maybe a little too much sauce making it too sweet for my taste. But all the same, very delicious! I think food prices were a little high around Montgomery but considering any Japanese restaurant in US is priced high, not bad.
From the food to the atmosphere, everything was amazing.
I've never had true authentic Japanese food, but I would have to guess this is what it tastes like. The staff are always on top of everything, making sure you are being served well. The atmosphere is very, very nice. I love everything about this place.
This place is definitely for people who are willing to try different flavors in food.
I went when they opened and loved the place. I haven't been for a while and had the opportunity to return for lunch. I was reminded how great it was. From the appetizers to the sushi my lunch was great. I love fried sushi and thoroughly enjoyed my spicy crunchy California roll.
This place has a sizable selection of Korean food. They seem to use good ingredients and provide good service. The only minus would be portion size is a little bit small. Highly recommended to stop by if you are in the Montgomery area.
Pretty nice restaurant. I had the Pork Cutlet. ITS MASSIVE!! I also had the edamame, pork dumplings, and the sweet potato tempura. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was good. I had a few issues but nothing that would prevent me from returning.
1. The sweet potato tempura was sliced a bit too thick(millimeters), so it was a bit crunchy. More than it should have been.
2. The table I sat at was not made for tall people. I’m 6’3” for reference.
3. The pork dumplings were bland.
Again, these were my observations and in no way mean it’s a bad restaurant. I’ll be going back. Just wanted to pass the information on.
We've been eating at Yokohama for years and every time the food is unique and delicious. The staff is nice and friendly! Highly recommend!
Atmosphere is gorgeous, service was top notch, and food is REALLY GOOD.
Went with a group of friends and we tried to try a little bit of everything. I got a sushi + udon special and got my money's worth.
If you haven't been yet, you should check it out asap.
Everything is super yummy and they have multiple Soju flavors!
Omg you need to check out the bathrooms because they're super clean and super nice.
Very good food. Service was excellent. Went on a Thursday night and were seated right away in one of the "private" booths. Tried the sushi as well as the BBQ platters. Will definitely be visiting again!
