Well today I wasn’t tend to get the food I wanted and it end up not too bad and got soup and duck quick service
A non descript neighborhood Chinese restaurant near the intersection of Geneva and Mission, Ying Hui offers a broad selection of low priced Cantonese food.
Located in front of the bus stop near a gritty intersection, Ying Hui isn't a great dining destination but for those in the know, and those in the neighborhood know, this restaurant offers good food at low prices.
A popular item is their roast duck. It looks like they use fresh and not frozen ducks for roasting. It is apparent when you eat it.
Currently a roast duck is $20
Call and Order ahead on the phone and have someone drive you over there to pick up. Take it home (whole), heat it back up in an oven to crisp the skin and then cut it up Chinese style into bite size pieces. It's worth the effort .
Their roast pork is delicious too.
This place is very dishonest. I ask for roast pork belly but they give me regular roast pork and charged me roast pork belly price. The difference is $3s per pound. Unbelievable, not coming back here again.
Your typical hole in the wall Chinese place on Mission St. Food is good. Enjoyed their Chow mein, chow fun, chicken with salty fish fried rice. Order of their roast pork was tasty.
This place is garbage. Ordered a tray of party wings for my son's birthday and the wings we picked up were black like fried in very used old oil. The wings were soggy and tasted like old grease used to fry other food items from last week or last month!
I highly do not recommend this place for catering or for eating. Always check your food because these culprits think they can get away with whatever they want. You shouldn't mess with people's food if you do not want bad things said about your measly restaurant.
Good BBQ meat everything everything good and tasty, I rather come here for my BBQ than to sf Chinatown. This restaurant has been very consistent with their food I again especially like all of them BBQ pork, roast duck, soy sauce chicken etc. Everything is good, can be long line sometimes esp during Chinese new year so long line out the door. Good business indeed ????
Ordered from the menu, was charged more and told that the prices are almost current. The woman insisted that I pay the new price which wasn't written anywhere and refused to acknowledge the menu price.
Place is great for rice plates w/BBQ pork, duck, etc. Also great for sit down dinners as well. Personal favorite is the salt and pepper baby beef ribs. (Not sure if they make it anymore)
