I called for a cab this morning and was told it would be half an hour before someone arrived. I called after waiting an hour and was told by the dispatcher that I was next as soon as a driver became available. I tried calling again after waiting for two hours and either no one answered or I encountered a system message that the number was not in service. I finally arranged for a ride with a family member. A cab finally arrived after almost two and a half hours! This is not the first time I received poor service but the first time I am writing a review.
tried calling to get a ride but no one answered. couldn’t leave a message and they have no website. so inconvenient. how are you supposed to get a ride when you can’t contact them????? ????
I've ride with this company many times and all of the drivers have been kind and courteous and prompt. I've had the pleasure of meeting the owner Tom and he is a person who respects woman and people of all backgrounds. I highly recommend this company for all your transportation needs!!
Tried calling earlier in the day (afternoon) and no one picked up. Just called again at 8:20pm on a Tuesday and was told in an annoyed voice by the guy on the other end only three words "Yellow Cab's Closed!"
Unclear if he meant just tonight or forever as they hung up without another word.
A friend tried to schedule a pick up from the Amtrak station a week or so ago and was told they don't operate after Midnight.
Consider the company out of business.
Once was at Walmart, with my newborn baby and waited over an hour on a cab that was supposed to be a 20 minute wait. When I called back to ask how far away the cab was, the lady was extremely rude and canceled my cab on me and hung up in my face. I called back to ask again how long my cab was, she said that she had canceled it and if I wanted to order another cab, that it would be over an hour wait because the driver was in another run. Then today wait over an hour again for the cab driver to not know where I am headed after my friend already told the company where we were going. Very long wait times. Unprofessional staff. Would never recommend this company. Call elite taxi.
They were polite enough over the phone when I set up the ride, however the cab was 15 minutes late resulting in my husband getting to work late so that was cool. The best part was they stared the fare meter when they left to pick him up instead of once he got into he car!!!!! Total scam!! Never and I mean NEVER has any taxi company I’ve used all over this country done that!! I do NOT recommend and we will NEVER use Yellow Cab again. RED & WHITE TAXI out of St Cloud is the way to go!!!!!!
Waited well past the promised arrival time before I politely called to check and make sure a cab was still on the way. I was told my ride was next, but the driver was not on their way yet (I just assumed they got held up on another ride, which is totally fine).
In the end, I ended up waiting for a few hours before I gave up on the ride because it was now too late for me to get where I needed to be and guess what?...
The cab NEVER showed up, even though I had confirmed the ride with them twice.
This is an extremely unacceptable way to run any business. You cannot count on this company for a ride, especially if you are limited on time. I highly advise you to use any of the other cab service if you are looking for a ride in the St. Cloud area.
