This was fantastic! We ordered for five people, two bacon burgers, one hamburger, one chili cheese dog And one chicken nugget. We added two shakes, and two sides (onion rings and fries) and it was all super delicious! The best part, all this food for $50. We spent double for three pizzas the night before. We’re definitely coming back before we leave town. Go get yecks, it’s DEEEELICIOUS ????
Stopped in late this evening. First visit of 2024. Glad to be back. My wife and I both had the wing ding dinner/ basket. Wing dings, Cole slaw and fries were very good. Several of the drumett pieces of the chicken were very large and were not completely cooked. A little cold on the inside. We just took those pieces home and warmed them in the microwave and shared with our dogs. That made them very happy and we already had enough to eat. I also had a hamburger with grilled onion, lettuce tomato and mayo. As always, a Great burger. The milk shakes are also a treat. So many flavors are available. Everyone that we have tried are really good. Drive-in means dine in here. They also have quite a few picnic tables and a covered area if you would rather eat outside of your vehicle. Thanks Yecks, a favorite local drive-in in Cheboygan.
2022: Tried out the Salami burger, which is a 5" round of griddle cooked salami sitting on top of a hamburger that is made to order. I opted for it with Swiss cheese, grilled onions and mustard, very tasty! Car hop service was very friendly and quick and the prices are reasonable too. Glad I gave it a try.
2023 update: Was passing through town and remembered how much I enjoyed this little car hop service restaurant and decided to give it another go, ordered the Olive Burger and another salami burger, both were very good. The olive burger had massive chunks of olives with a mayo mixture, both burgers were delicious and unique. Definitely a worthy stop if you find yourself in this wonderful little town.
WOW! If I could give more that five stars, I definitely would! The food is phenomenal and so is the service. Very cute, old style drive in. The strawberry shortcake is a must!
I took my sister to Mackinaw City in my 1968 Corvette convertible. On the way home we stopped and had dinner. Friendly staff and very tasty food. I had a blackberry malt and my sister the olive burger. Old fashioned drive in where the "car hop" serves you in your car. Will stop in again when I am in town.
Neat little drive in where you eat in your car and have a tray hooked into your window. This place is cash only, so make sure to stop and get some before you come. They have a decent sized menu with classic cheeseburgers and hotdogs. Would recommend getting a shake for dessert.
Not what we expected. My hubby loves chili dogs, however the "chili" was just ground beef sauteed with onions. I had the olive burger, it was good, different though. I've never had a spicy olive burger, not super spicy, just enough to tell. Kids had the 6 piece nuggets, they were cheap dinosaur nuggets from the store. Not worth the prices we spent.
The food was pretty bad. I’d say McDonalds is a lot better. I heard good things and was expecting something good but the fries were bland and unsalted. The hot dog was a hot dog, nothing special. And the shake was gross and didn’t taste like Chocolate. They also do not take card...even though it’s 2023. Just a warning if you go there, make sure you have cash.
