The service was great. The food was good and it was a nice place to relax and enjoy the food. Everyone was nice and greeted each other. I'll definitely be going back. It is a great place.
My sister and I are in town for a wedding and we wanted to get lunch. Tried Ye Olde Town Cafe and we were not disassociated! The servers were so nice and were not bothered when I changed my order! We had a club sandwich on rye and a Cobb salad. Both items were delicious and the homemade chips were great with the sandwich.
My family and I have eaten at this restaurant several times in the last 2.5 years. Today was not a great experience: four of us went for the Sunday buffet (which was fine), but two of us ordered off the menu. This is where our troubles began. Our simple dishes of children’s Mac and cheese and sweet potato pancakes took about 45 mins to be served, and the waitress thought it acceptable to drop the check on our table before our meals had even been served. We witnessed an adjacent table be served their meals before ours were tabled, even though they ordered considerably later than we did. Neither the waitress nor the kitchen seems to take any responsibility. Kinda disappointing, particularly as the restaurant was nowhere near full today
I went here during the rubber duck festival and was hoping to have a good experience at this local diner. I did not. I was seated with my girlfriend fairly quickly. We ordered our food and waited way to long for that food. You could tell that the staff was not prepared for that many people to be there during this festival. We did recieve free cherry cake which was very good. The rest of the food finally came but was cold. I'm a guy that's for eating all my food and I'm sad to say I took one bite of their hash browns and couldn't eat anymore ????
The grits, eggs, and scrabble was all cold as if it had been sitting out for awhile. Which would make sense with their being busy and not prepared. I would assume this would be different during slower times but I would not recommend going here.
Fantastic place!! The head cook is such a nice guy makes you feel very welcome!! Highly recommend can't wait to come back
Nice local place, quick service. the only negative was they had a repair man replacing ceiling tiles a couple of tables down while people were eating.
The service was amazing. Constantly taking care of their customers checking up on them seeing how they are very talkative good to talk to. The atmosphere is amazing the ambiance is amazing in here the music is really good. You can see the chef cook and the food is perfectly cooked to any standard that you ask them for 10/10 would give 100 stars if I could
I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! The service was beyond great, the food was soooooooo good! The chicken fried steak is the best I've ever had, and the pancakes were delicious! Can't wait to go there again!!!
