I paid 220 for them to mess up my hair. They had it nice in the front but put fat doodoo twist in the back. I heard this happens a lot with them because it’s hard to see the back. They are cash only and I see why because I definitely want my money back and would dispute the charge on my card. My daughter had to get her hair taken down in the shop because they put big knotted twist in her head. Please beware. DO NOT GO HERE!! Then still tried to charge me for her!! I’m reporting to the BBB
Been going to them for years ! Friendliest African shop on the East side . Clean . Quick . I’ve had 3 ppl on my head at once . They don’t play bout getting you outta there . Lovvveeee them
I love this shop ever since I moved to the area and found them it’s been a blessing great atmosphere friendly workers and they don’t hurt you!!!!
They do a good job braiding. However; I had a two hour wait. Then when they got to my daughter, I had to comb out her hair and blow dry it myself. The lady tried to argue me down about the $65 hair do and then she stop to eat due to pregnancy instead of finishing my daughter hair. I do feel as though, I should've received a discount because of the wait and stepping in to stri8en my daughter hair and having to due accessories myself; but overall, I'm happy with my daughter hair style.
I love my small knot less and got two words Perfectionist and Fast!! I was in at 4p out by 9p ????. These ladies don’t play and gets the job done done. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!! New client for sure!!
Everyone here is very friendly and the braiders do a great job on my hair every time! This is my third time coming and I will be returning! Prices are fair as well!
Update: Just went out in public for the first time since getting my hair done and have received lots of compliments!! Visit Yatu’s for all your braid needs!
I paid $130 for a sew in with a closure. I also had to buy the glue for my sew in. If all the products for a certain style aren’t in the salon, why offer the service? My hair also wasn’t styled after she sewed it in. Just an overall bad experience. The braids are always great though.
I love going here and the owner of this place is amazing and they are very professional
