It was my first time there . The lady that did my hair was super fast and they lady that helped her braid the ends they were nice. Everyone was nice and sweet… I guess I found a new spot to do my hair.

my first complaint is that I called to ask if they do passion twists to which they said yes and nothing else. When I arrived they told me I had to go buy the hair. Fine. So why am i still charged 200$ if I’m buying the hair… when I’ve paid 200$ to get knotless with hair provided. She also said it was 200$ because it was waist length, but it’s not. They also tell you the price after they start. That doesn’t make sense.

She does the passion twist and by the end of the night, most of them have unraveled. They’re all different lengths. And mind you they make you pay before you finish so even if you don’t like the finished product you’re stuck with it.

I had an event to go to the same night so I didn’t have the time to ask her to fix or redo it even though I doubt the outcome would’ve been different because she was asking questions about how to do it to the other stylists when she began.

They literally only get one star because they started as soon as I came.

Very disappointed because I’ve gone here 2 other times and this is the first I’ve been disappointed .

I’ve been coming to the shop for over 5 years an the service here is outstanding. Very friendly stylist very respectful an they all handle there customers with care . I love Yasmine she’s so warm and loving . She makes me feel like family . I always refer my family friends an co workers to this shop. I give them 10 stars if I could

I have been coming to Yasmin’s since I was 7 years old (15 years), shes the only person I let touch my hair! She does beautiful styles on my hair, I leave the shop always satisfied. She’s truly the best braider in Jersey, even her staff. Always respectful, kind, and caring when you are in any of their seats. I recommend all my friends, and family, to Yasmin! You won’t regret it.

Came here for a crotchet style I showed them what I wanted and if they could do it they said yes. They had this younger girl think she may have been new do my hair while what appeared to be the owner or whomever would direct and check on her every so often. Other works next to her were giving her feedback and correcting her and telling the owner to make sure she knew what she was doing. In the end someone came and helped her. At the end the front looked fine so I thought it was ok. It wasn't the best crotchet but it sufficed for the short period I needed. However upon getting home and checking the back I realize the entire back was empty. Like literally they didn't put any crotchet in the middle back completely ridiculous I will never step food by that place and recommend others don't either

My 16yo daughter needed knotless braids to be done the next day. Found this salon on Facebook and, be sure, this will be the ONLY place we get her hair braided moving forward! They open early and my daughter went right into the chair. We were in and out in 3 hours! The staff and stylists were all friendly and professional, and the owner is clearly a very good business woman who is very considerate of her customers experience. The shop is clean and child-friendly. The place was definitely busy, but customers were never waiting long. Everyone was very friendly and the service was excellent. My daughter is very pleased with her hair and we will definitely use this business again!!

I usually hate the hassle of getting my daughter's hair braided. My problems are solved! THIS BUSINESS IS EXACTLY WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!!
