Prime rib Monday & Thursday is actually really good! $32. We also like the scallops $35 and salmon. The Cape cod Ruben is delicious as well.
Chill vibes, no need to dress nice.
Easy parking.
Had nice first visit to the Yardarm. We enjoyed the Fish Reuben and the Fish and Chips and a nice Jacks Abbey beer on tap. The food was well prepared and arrived hot.
Our server was good and personable. The decor is a nice pub looks with a variety of pictures, license plates, and police patches on display.
Overall a solid pub dining experience.
First i would like to say Thank you for letting us have dinner 10 minutes before closing.
I had 3 kids, driving around trying to find restaurant that actually will accept us that late, after 3 unsuccessful stops the staff of Yardarm was the only one who open the door and welcome us.
The food was freshly cooked and come extremely fast .
Everything taste great.
We had calamari (delirious), Spinach Supreme salad with chicken, pasta and chicken fingers with fries.
Portions was giant and we toke the rest for home.
We will definitely go back !!!
Service was the best one that i got for 6 days eating all over the cape.
Dear Yardarm, We keep giving you a second chance, but you still have that surly waitress, Deb, who can barely make eye contact and who seems to be bothered by your presence. Why do you keep her? Is she a part owner? We always get stuck with her, always hope for a better experience, and always walk out disappointed. This time my wife said, " let's never come here again." So sorry because everything else is pretty darn decent.
I haven't tipped below 20% in years, but tonight I did. And the tip was mainly for the bartender!
Even under the new ownership... it's the same Yardarm. Love it. It's my go to place for a good casual meal Sheng at the Cape.
Monday and Thursday are prime rib nights.. if you like... go.
First time eating fried oysters. They are little crunchy pillows of goodness. All the food was amazing!
Food pretty good, atmosphere also ok. Quiter and neater than a few years ago - better separation from noisy bar, and new paint. Food served very quickly. Prime Rib perfectly done, good level of garlic, very tasty. Special bourbon Salmon cooked perfectly. Veggies just right. Desert? Had ice cream (very goid) and a rum cake (not so good). Nuts on top of rum cake were not right. Cake was ok. Other things to improve to justify prices? Real dinner rolls instead of heat'n'serve and real cloth napkins.
Thanksgiving weekend when everyone (everyone!) wants to go out to eat after the big day...
We were NOT expecting great service and great food in a quaint neighborhood restaurant.
- The servers were friendly, efficient and kind.
- No upcharge for the substitution of fried onion strings instead of fries!
- My 84 year old Mom ate the ENTIRE hamburger. Roll was fresh and the burger was cooked to perfection. (She usually only eats half of any sandwich.)
- Our fish sandwiches were wonderful - flaky and cooked just right. Tartar sauce was homemade and had the perfect blend.
- Brewed iced tea! Not the "tea" from the soda gun at the bar...
We can't wait to go back and try more of the menu items.
Only wish we could have been there for prime rib days (Mondays & Thursdays)...
We don't know the staff's names but they were all great. And we had to stop into the kitchen and tell the 2 hardworking cooks/chefs how great our lunch was...
