Best WLM Reviews
The Gamjatang is enormous and has a pretty distinct earthy and herby flavor. Meat is fall-fall-off-the-bone and a decent mix of fatty and lean parts. Kimchi pancake is homemade tasting (in a good way) and delicious especially when still crispy and fresh. Would recommend ordering multiple dishes and sharing because the gamjatang flavor is assertive and can be a lot.
Our family has enjoyed the food so much for it was very delicious! Indeed, the food was so tasty and yummy! The lady who served us has been very kind, helpful, and polite. Definitely, I'm very happy and very blessed I had the opportunity to have tried one of the best Korean cuisines today!! Thank you so much!! Many Blessings~~
Look, got some delivery and the food was at best OK and then I found a staple in the squid dish.
Putting that aside I ate some of the seafood pancake and found what felt and looked like a piece of mussel shell or something similar.
Two inedible and dangerous things in two different dishes in one meal. Would not recommend at all!
My friend and I were craving for some savory food after our spa, and she really wanted to eat Spicy Galbi Jjim (Braised Oxtail n Ribs) badly so we visited Yangji Gamjatang.
It's our first visit and surprising this place wasn't too busy during dinner time. We were immediately serviced and given all the banchan. The place is pretty small but it felt homey like a small family owned business. The vibes it gives off felt welcoming.
The Spicy Galbi Jjim is a MUST TRY here! They serve it piping hot and if you get it with cheese... be amazed when they torch the cheese. It's a full spectacle and fun to watch. It's my first time actually eating this dish so I was high with expectations and it did not disappoint. It was very rich with flavor, and the sauce is thicc! I absolutely love it. My friend thought it was a bit too salty for her, but I couldn't tell since I ate it with rice. It was perfect for me. And the meat easily came off the bones :D
And the Gamjatang was very flavorful, and delicious. It's a great soup if you looking for something hearty and warm.
Definitely worth a visit but be mindful that parking is a struggle here! This plaza is popular so they only offer valet parking (limited though) or you can take on the challenge of street parking.
The food was very low quality. I spent over $100 and did not get much food at all, the seafood pancake had no seafood, but imitation crab. The bulgogi was fatty and soaked in liquid. Bibimbop was very bland vegetables were weak. Even the rice was not fresh. I love Korean food so this was very disappointing. I do not recommend this place and will never return.
I love the starters. They are are very flavory. I took one pork bone soup and it was huge. I cannot finish it by myself.
I've always wanted to try galbijim, we found this place on google and decided to try it out. We ordered spicy cheesy Maeun Gori Galbijim, while waiting we got a nice assortment of banchan and water. They served us 2 rice bowls and brought out the pot. It looked beautiful! And then they torched the cheese, mesmerized by the pyro and melting. Once the served finished melting the cheese we went right in! It was enough for 3 hungry people. The first bite of the oxtail with the spicy sauce and cheese was incredible. I would commend this hearty meal for anyone that loves meat spicy food and cheese. Korean food is top tier. ♡
Well I went to “Sun Nong Dan” first, but experienced some terrible behavior from the server seating us. So I left and took a leap of faith and went to the restaurant next door. I was so happy with this decision! The service was amazing. Everyone was kind and attentive. The spicy beef soup was on point too. I will absolutely be coming back!
