This was a great experience. The staff was super friendly and food was good as well. The menu is a bit small if you don't like sushi though.
They have staples to fall back on like ramen and hibachi so I still had a great experience. The food was good but the fried cheesecake was fantastic.
Staff was attentive but not hovering, knowledgeable, and personable. They we're extremely patient with how long we took to eat also. May be our new staple..
The food and service were wonderful. Found our new sushi place for our new home. The outside of the building is not much, but the inside is clean, warm, and friendly. We kind of over did it this first time but leftovers are always good.
I absolutely love this sushi. I'm a very picky eater when it comes to eating raw fish in Missouri, but their sushi is amazing, along with their spicy mayo and fried sushi. Reasonably priced and a good size portion for meals, also it's a very clean and romantic place to eat. The staff are always helpful and my husband and I will never stop eating there! 10/10
I am genuinely so confused how this place has 4.7 stars. I never like to complain at a restaurant but our visit was absolutely absurd.
First, we got miso soup with our meals and it just was not good. It basically tasted like seaweed water and all of us sent it back. I asked for the onion soup instead and it was basically water too so we just forfeited the soup and still had to pay for them. Our poor server was struggling between trying to help us out and listening to what her management was saying to do.
The sushi was okay. Nothing absolutely breathtaking, but not bad. It wasn’t served with wasabi or ginger which was odd but no big deal. My hibachi dinner was where things really went south. I ordered the chicken & steak combo and asked for my steak medium-rare and I kid you not it was raw. Basically just browned but still cold, I asked our server if I could just be charged for a chicken hibachi since I took all of the raw steak off my plate and her manager (or the owner, whoever the lady is) told her no so she took the same steak and recooked it. I’m no health inspector but I think that’s some sort of code violation. It was still raw when they tried to give it back to me on the same plate they took it on, and they still made me pay for it.
Our server was so shaken and I feel for her. We watched the manager scold her for things that were no fault of her own and it was just ridiculous.
There were also boxes randomly piled into the dining room, almost overflowing into our booth. Apparently the owners kid runs around and antagonizes unhappy customers as well? I’m confused and disturbed about the whole experience to say the least.
We asked for the check and it was $100 for 3 people. Honestly just sort of absurd given everything that went wrong and the portions considering if my steak hadn’t been raw, there were like 5-8 pieces total.
Do not recommend. I would give 0 stars if I could.
Great atmosphere. Never any judgement when I bring my little. AND amazing food! Highly suggest the Superman sushi and Chicken and Steak hibachi.
Our first visit. Food was amazing. I order chicken fried rice. It was different, building in a very good way. I literally could not stop eating it. My boyfriend got Beef Yaki Soba and he loved it. We will definitely be going back. Our waiter was very attentive attentive and very nice. Love this place!!!!
Our server was very pleasant and friendly. My husband isn't a fan of sushi, so ordered the chicken fried rice. It was a large portion and seasoned well. My daughter and I both ordered sushi rolls and they were all delicious. Recommend the Lobster Rangoon for an appetizer.
Loved it! The sushi was awesome and so was everything else. We had the lobster rangoon and the spring rolls and lots of different type of sushi. Spring rolls were really awesome too! Loved that they had mochi for dessert. The waitress was so nice and was so sweet to my little 4 year old daughter. We will definitely go back! I highly recommend this place!
