I went here based off of reviews. The owner did my hair and my crocheted hair was coming out at an alarming rate by day 5. I went back to her so she could fix it. She said, "it's not my fault, your hair is too short". If you knew my hair was too short, why did you take my money and furthermore, why did you do my hair. Because by any means necessary, let me make this quick money. I was able to pull each crochet hair right off. She never closed up the braid, which the crochet was installed on. That doesn't make sense. Do not was your time and money. Go elsewhere for a professional job. This was my first and last visit.
On January 21, 2024, my daughter and I decided to try this new location since it was referred. Of course, I have been braiding my hair over 10 years in another location further away from my home and this was a "GREAT" opportunity for me to try somewhere closer to home. Well, did not come out as plan on my end. Daughter stylist was on point with her hair. My stylist did not know how to braid and that was the one question I asked the owner are they all professional. Answer of course is "Yes!" Well, bestow my hair was a hot mess.
Future customers beware that on Sundays owner also requested to get paid ahead with hair not even done because she goes to church. That was very unprofessional. BEWARE!!!
Ended up contacting the owner same day to express my disappointment. Of course, she accommodated me to come back which I did on January 26, 2024. Of course, it was rushed and I could tell due to her having other clients waiting. It's not even two weeks into this style and its falling apart. I am Puerto Rican and like my braids but if you as an owner knows you cannot handle my hair why attempt? Your professionalism is appreciated in recommending other styles. Anyhow, $200 dollars for under 2 weeks crazy. Giving 3 stars because owner was willing to do box braids but I backed denied. Photos are worth a thousand words.
I rarely feel so pleased to even write a review due to the services I receive, but this time I am so extremely thankful for the services I received I must say. This place is full of amazing women, the service is outstanding, I love my braids.???? ???? ????
So happy I found this place! I’ve been going for over a year now and every experience there has been pleasant. More importantly for me my braids always look great and they last long without paying an arm and a leg ????
This is not to bash or tear down this is Just my experience being shared . Ok . As a native of paterson for my entire life I’ve never gotten my hair braided in the city . This was my first experience and be that as it may The ladies were very pleasant, and I loved the Gospel music to set the atmosphere however there were some things to call attention to . The day I came it had just snowed the day before and there was no heat . The stylist that braided my hair was very sweet however the braids were too tight I ended up taking them out two days after unfortunately due to bruising . I did let the stylist know while braiding and she lightened up a bit but the first few braids were the cause of me removing them . For reference payment is only by cash or Zelle so that is something to bear in mind .
The owner is very nice and patient was my first time there and she made sure I loved my hair ☺️ I’ll be back soon

Beautiful small triangle box braids long length done in under 4 hours and it’s not too tight just right! Not a long wait time. Price is reasonable The owner is friendly and professional the stylist are great and will meet your needs. 5/5 Thank you for your service
