Yagi was an amazing find in Anaheim Hills. They are small and fill up fast, but their sushi chefs are top notch and incredibly fast. We tried their omakase, two rolls, miso soup, and their hot tea. All were fantastic. If you enjoy nigiri, the omakase is absolutely the one to go with.
I come here every time I’m in town, and my family comes here so often they know us by name. Very kind staff, great sushi and sake, and the specials they rotate out are always fresh. My favorites are the raw scallop with uni nigiri, soft shell crab hand rolls, and bluefin toro. They are always consistent and good :)
Best omakase I've ever had. We went on a Sunday right before dinner when it wasn't very busy, so the service was great. Food was so fantastic that I'm still thinking about the flavors over half a week later. $65 for 11 pieces but everything is so so good.
Every piece of fish was thoughtfully flavored in a way that brought out the qualities of the fish. Most of them were already sauced in some ponzu and other sauces, not needing any soy, and the rice flavored with vinegar and wasabi was tasty--I normally don't like wasabi but it was good. The toro (not pictured because I gobbled it instantly haha), sea bass with truffle, and dessert were all the stars of the show for me. Will definitely be back again soon!
Also, parking was super easy.
The best place for sushi in the area. The omakase is amazing. My husband and I go all the time for a nice little date. It's expensive but worth it. Very high quality fish and excellent customer service.
The sushi are good but the rolls are meh. Shrimp tempuras charge for $14 but they taste generic in a bad way. I’d recommend to get sashimi there instead of rolls. Great servers though. My review is only based on the food quality.
I ordered the 11 piece sushi and handroll chef’s special omakase, at $65.

Had Chef’s Special Omakase for lunch. Sushi were very fresh. Panda Cotta, the desert as the last item, was excellent.
Delicious Omakase selection. Enjoyed the freshness, quality and delicious rice. Amazing dessert. Highly recommend.
