A month ago, I went in for a men’s haircut and perm and I’ve gotta say: stay. away.
The reason I waited to leave a review was because I wanted to see how the hairstyle would sit after it grew out a bit.
The perming experience was, to say the least, shocking. I was permed by someone who clearly was being trained. As he permed me, he was not being guided or watched by who I assumed to be the professional stylist. He ended up doing a terrible job. He poured excess solution that dripped down to my face. I overheard store employees joking about how he used way too much solution. The barber who ended up cutting my hair even explained to him (in Chinese) that he messed up a portion of my head.
I’m incredibly disappointed at both the way my hair looks now, and at the lack of professionalism by the part of this business.
Id advise you to look elsewhere.

As long as I live relatively close by, I won’t be going anywhere else. I’ve never had a haircut be as consistently good as I have here.
The owner is excellent, and he’s the nicest person. The place is relatively quiet, extremely clean, really pleasant to be in. I’d work and have a coffe in here if I could.

This is my 3rd time having my hair cut in Y Hair and Its been great experiences ! Loveeeee how my hair always turns out ! Just got my hair cut today and I’m in love ! My hair feels so healthy and he took his time as well as applying a hair mask to my hair! Will definitely continue to come here and definitely recommend!
First time getting my hair cut since the pandemic started. Place is clean, music is good, guy is super friendly and gave me a fabulous cut (went from long hair to shoulder length). He’s practicing all covid safety procedures as well!
Bad cut and he charged me extra for drying my hair so it wasn’t sopping wet when I walked out the door. Strange times that it’s ok to wet my hair but they charged for me to use a hair dryer to make my hair dry for 5 min?
