Best WLM Reviews

Decent place to get Xiao long bao and other Shanghainese dishes. Some of their house specials are pretty good, such as smoked duck, glutinous rice with port in bamboo. There are not that many tables indoor, but quite many outdoor in an enclosed area.
Pretty darn average. The soup for the Xiao long bao is sweeter than most of the others out there, which is pretty unique. But, at the ~$2/dumpling, it's not particularly worth. The other dishes at this spot are pretty expensive as well. Wouldn't recommend coming here, the hours are awkward and there are better Chinese restaurants around the area than this spot.
Nice outdoor seating. We made a reservation through Google for our party of 9 people. The table was ready for us when we walked in.
Service was good and fast.
We ordered too much food because we wanted to sample different dishes. We ended up bringing some food home.
The food is decent but not with wow’s. Good for causal family dinners.
Met here a few times for meals with friends and family. XLB is great, nice and thin wrap with soup. We order pork belly with sticky rice, tasty. Won ton soup is good as well as fried rice and noodles. My friends love the chili oil won ton. Service is nice and efficient. If you have a group, make a reservation. It can get busy at lunch and dinner.
Simply a mediocre eatery. Due to the rain, we did not want to drive far and decided to have xiao long bao here. With this price range, I can get much tastier food elsewhere. Xiao long bao was brownish on the top… ? Spicy wontons were soggy and the sauce was blend beside the peppercorn taste. Pretty much the same sauce for the beef noodle soup and you can tell the beef was not cooked with the soup but just boiled and added to the noodle. Sichuan burning noodle was tasteless. Pork buns and pot stickers were small in size and the dough tasted sweet.
Overall none of the dishes we had could be called tasty (to my standard) but the two lady servers were very courteous and attentive.
I like the outdoor seating and the service was quick. I ordered this spicy vinegar tasting chicken which left my mouth buzzing afterwards. Not in a spicy way but in a novacaine type of way. The dumplings weren't my favorite either.
The best dumplings. This has been my favorite place for some time. XLB is the dim sum of choice. An explosion of flavor - a salty, sweet, umami tornado. The authentic vibes and unique spin jam together quite nicely. Highly recommend this taste of home, a must try, Bay Area staple.
Restaurant is small inside, but does have a nice outdoor, kind of a garden, seating area. The pork dumplings were ok, juicy. The stir fried noodles average. The hot spicy wontons were over cooked with very soft skin and liquity sauce, not much flavors (yes, just spicy). The veg was just ok. Service was good.
