Best WLM Reviews
Food: the food was rather well seasoned, the cucumber salad is a bit different than Korean style so I had more of a sour soy sauce taste still pretty good, fresh cucumbers, though. The pork fried dumplings had a really nice blend of flavor in the meat, but I felt like it had more boa than it had meat. The beef chow was also delicious, well seasoned not too salty
Service: the servers are there to help you if you have any questions on the menu, but you typically just write which items you want on the paper and they’ll just send it off to you. It’s kind of self-serving, but they’re there to help if you need it.
Ambiance: Chinatown Plaza you’ll see a lot of natives around, but it’s a rather quiet place to enjoy a good lunch
I absolutely loved this place! Fairy B was our server and she did an outstanding job. The portion sizes are just right, everything was delicious. We have never had soup dumplings before and wanted to try. They definitely didn’t disappoint. 10/10 am definitely recommending. If we lived near here, it would be our newest go-to restaurant - but since we are only traveling through, it’s been photographed and kept in our memories to hopefully visit again soon.
Best soup dumpling I had in a long time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE TRUFFLE SOUP DUMPLINGS. I had that and the crab and pork soup dumplings. Very good, but not as good as the Truffles. Dan Dan noodles changed my opinion about them. I usually don’t like it, but their peanut sauces were very creamy and delicious.
Crispy chicken and chili was good but regret getting it because I couldn’t enjoy it like I did the dumpling. The fried pork buns are the closest thing to a good manapua I could find in Vegas. A must try.
This is my second time here and my family’s 4th visit! LOVED the green veggies the most. Nothing is better than garlic and fresh veggies. We ordered waaaaaaay too much, but we enjoyed our meal. Our servers name was Jackie according to the check. He was amazing! Super friendly and came to check in with us even though the restaurant was slammed. He was hustling to tables and had very good table service.
A very popular place, at least in the weekend. The service was quick. The sauteed veggies with garlic was pretty flavorful. The sauteed beans were tasty. The fried rice noodles with beef was delicious, the beef was very tender. The Xiao Long Bao was yummy.
You can’t go wrong here. Soup dumplings were spot on and served with the table ready black vinegar and chili oil. Seaweed salad was well seasoned, nice crunchy tempura shrimp, and the house beef noodle soup hit the spot (although it was a little bland and needed to add soy sauce). Plenty of places to choose from in this area but Xiao Long should make your list.
Food was pretty good, but I was expecting the dumplings to be a bit better all around since this place is a dumpling restaurant. I can't say they are bad by any means, but I have had some really good dumplings in my time, and some of these are just a tad flavorless.
Best parts - The spicy soup dumplings, pork potstickers, and the green beans with ham were all really good, in my opinion.
Not as great - Veggie steamed dumplings were not that good, and the shrimp steamed dumplings were very basic...good for some, but I do like a HINT (or more) of some flavor.
Still, there are some really good menu items. I think I tried 10 or so things, and really liked 4 or so.
AMAZING! If you’re in Las Vegas and want THEE best dumplings you HAVE TOO try Xiao Long Dumplings! ???? The atmosphere was relaxed and clean. Service with out waitress, Fairy was interactive, easy going and gave us a much needed slow pace from the strip. The food, I can’t say enough. Fast, fresh, homemade! The cream cheese, pork, & soup dumpling was a MUST TRY, no exceptions! Boba mango tea, I just can’t say anything except, ???? mmmmmmm! And for dessert, yes a dessert dumpling. Banana, Nutella. Yes BANANA NUTELLA. Just go and try it, you will make a Vegas Tradition!!!!
