Best WLM Reviews

I used to live in Sichuan so I was so excited to try this place! It felt like we were back in China! Amazing service. We got medium spicy and bone broth half and half because we love spicy, but needed a non spicy option for our kids. Our kids loved the food. It was delicious. I loved the tofu skin and frozen tofu, the tripe and the goose intestines were delicious. The broth flavor is perfect. I cannot wait to come back!
Just had an amazing dining experience at Xi’s Hotpot! The New Zealand lamb was incredibly tender and fresh, perfectly complemented by the rich and flavorful tomato soup base. For those who love a bit of heat, the spicy beef tallow base is an absolute must-try – it’s packed with depth and spice. The presentation was beautiful and the quality of the ingredients truly stood out. Highly recommended for all hotpot enthusiasts! Also highly recommend the tomato soup????
牛油锅必点,番茄锅不输于海底捞。还会再来的????love it!!!!
It was definitely an experience that I enjoyed. I enjoyed the selection of self served sauces. The broth plus the meats were quite pricey so we ended up getting plain broth and getting 2 meats and our total was approx $20. The broth itself was more expensive than the meat. The meat down below is priced at approximately $10 per plate. I would recommend this place to people who have quite a bit more flexibility with money.
This is my new favorite hot pot place! I thought the service was excellent - they really thought of everything. You're given a bib so you don't splash soup everywhere, and our server also gave all of us girls hair ties so our hair wouldn't get in the way, which I thought was a great idea. The fruit teas were SO good - we got the peach, mango, and kiwi. We did the dual hot pot and got the bone broth and golden bases. The golden base was super flavorful and definitely our favorite. We also got the veggie plater, meat platter and some other things like noodles, fried tofu, and sausage. I've seen some people talk about it being expensive, but we paid around $25 per person, and I thought for how much we got, that seemed like a super fair price. I can't wait to go back!
Xi Hot Pot, nestled in the Spa Land Shopping Center off North Berkeley Road in Duluth, is a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable culinary experience. As a passionate foodie, I was drawn to this establishment by its simple yet intriguing signage proclaiming "HOT POT," and I was delighted to discover a culinary haven beyond compare.
During the soft opening, my companions and I were treated to a VIP experience, thanks to our early registration, which entitled us to a generous discount. From the moment we stepped inside, it was evident that no expense had been spared in crafting a space that seamlessly blends elegance with comfort. The meticulous attention to detail, from the tasteful decorations to the impeccable plate settings, spoke volumes about the commitment to excellence evident in every aspect of Xi Hot Pot.
We opted for the split pot, choosing both the bone tallow and spicy bone tallow broths, each offering a unique and robust flavor profile. Priced at a reasonable $30 for the soup base alone, it was clear that quality was the top priority. The al la carte menu, conveniently accessible via tablet, boasted an impressive array of meats, veggies, and sauces, ensuring that every craving could be satisfied with ease.
One standout dish was the premium beef brisket, with its tantalizing marbling and melt-in-your-mouth texture leaving a lasting impression. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, a testament to the superior quality of the ingredients used.
With ample parking and a welcoming atmosphere perfect for large parties, Xi Hot Pot is poised to become a go-to destination for food enthusiasts seeking an authentic and memorable dining experience. As I eagerly anticipate my next visit, I can confidently award Xi Hot Pot a well-deserved five-star rating, and I encourage fellow foodies to embark on their own culinary journey at this exceptional establishment.
I recently visited with a party of four and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. The service was somewhat disappointing, with none of the staff being fluent in English. They didn't bother to ask if it was our first time, leaving us clueless about the setup and where to find the sauces. The hygiene was also questionable, with one of our water cups clearly used and not cleared out.
The price was an extortion for what we received. A small side of vegetables (kimchi cabbage) for $4 felt like a rip-off, and 2 plates of beef priced at $17 each were mostly fat. Despite our complaint and request for a replacement, we were told that was all they had, without even an apology.
To add to this, the service was horrendous, with different servers approaching us each time, leaving us confused about who was actually serving our table. When we asked about the returned dishes not being removed from the bill, the response was dismissive and lacked any apology or accountability.
Shared my experience with coworkers revealed that I wasn't alone in my dissatisfaction, particularly concerning the crazy overpriced menu. Overall, this place failed miserably in providing a satisfactory dining experience, and we won't be returning or recommending it to anyone.
Such a pretty and aesthetic restaurant paired with unmatched quality. Their food quality might be good, but for the amount of selections, and lack of trained staffs. Kinda feel bad tbh. I mean who goes to work with cargo pants, and loose shirt?
Really great spot for hotpot and they offer BYOB!! The broth was really good & flavorful. We got the beef tallow and mushroom base. I love the beef tallow cause of the spicy kick it gave (my spice tolerance is pretty high). If I’m not sweating or crying, I don’t want it. If you’re not good with spice, they do offer mild but if your spice tolerance sucks, good luck - you might leave crying ???? It is a bit on the pricier side but the quality is really good. Overall, we left happy & satisfied. Super beautiful interior as well.
We went during soft opening. We really appreciated the staff for serving us while also doing their best to learn. Staff spoke both English and Mandarin.
We ordered one of every meat and some veggie options alongside some appetizers. It was all really delicious and definitely felt higher quality than other hotpot places in Duluth!
I'm excited to visit again and optimistic they can iron out some of their processes! This has the potential to be a nice premium hotpot in Duluth!
