Guy did an excellent job in repairing my wife's Lexus RX 330. He replace both of the CV joints and fix our shaking issue while the car accelerate. The price was extremely reasonable as well. If you need a honest mechanic who does the job right at a reasonable price, you need to come by and get an estimate from Guy. We will definitely be going back for more service.
Wrenches and Rachets replaced my transmission in the fall of 2023. This shop had possession of my car for well over 45 days, due to waiting for the new transmission to arrive. Once I picked up my car, I noticed a horrible rattling sound. I returned it to the shop, and they stated that a motor mount bolt was loose, and they tightened it up. I picked up my car and it was still making a rattling sound and I was told that everything was fine. At that time, I was working remote and driving once a week for less than 10 miles (per week). I am now traveling 90 plus miles per day back and forth to work. We took my car to a different mechanic about the same rattling noise, and they found the issue. There was a loose bolt on the transfer case. I called and requested an email address and Susie asked what it was regarding. I then proceeded to tell her that I was going to send them a copy of the bill for THEIR ERROR since they were unable to locate the noise the first time. This shop had my car for over 45 days the first time, several days the 2nd time, I'm unable to go without a car for even 1 day.
I do NOT recommend this shop. I had no choice as my car was still under warranty and this is the location that the company which owned my warranty referred us to. Due to my car no longer being under warranty, we chose a more trusted local mechanic for the 2nd opinion and thankfully they located the issue. I'll consider this a lesson learned. The safety of my family driving and riding in my car far outweighs the $200 that I spent to correct their error.
Update: This is in response to the owners comment below. You do NOT stand behind your work because you were given a chance to locate the noise initially and you all failed to do so. As I stated previously, I was driving MAYBE 10 miles per week up until last month because I worked remotely. You were initially paid $7,671.27. Shame on you all for not tightening a bolt!! The careless act of the mechanic is uncalled or and hazardous. Why should I bring my car BACK to you all for a 3rd attempt to correct an issue? Hence why we found a mechanic that actually knew how to do the job correctly, the first time! I'll also be sure that CarMax knows about this issue as well. Hopefully, no one else will be affected by such careless mechanics.
I definitely recommend them. I've had various work done by them multiple times and not only is it reasonably priced but they are super nice and they're quick too. Will continue to come back!
Took my car to their shop, needing a repair. Great service, people, and pricing was more than fair. Highly recommend for any of your auto needs.
Last week we had my boyfriends Honda Ridgeline towed here for repairs and the next morning received a call stating it was the axle and it needed a new transmission. We were Leary with the results after having his brother with us the night it broke down who is a master mechanic. After talking we decided to have the vehicle towed to another garage for diagnosis and repairs. Received the call that it was in fact the axel. I told my boyfriend this guy was looking for a Christmas bonus and in fact he was. Turns out there was absolutely nothing wrong with the transmission after this guy insisted it was. Be weary of ratchets and wrenches.
Best shop in town hands down! Been using this place for years and not had 1 bad experience. The staff is not only professional but extremely down to earth, helpful, and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone needing an extensive repair all the way down to simple service.
I took my fiance car up to him, and he replaced the catalytic converter, and the car don't even have 90,000 miles on it. We took it to him on a Monday, and he said the part will be in on Wednesday. He called said it was ready on tuesday not even 5 minutes down the road the light came back on so we took it back that Tuesday it was ready again on Wednesday but then a week later the light is back on and he will not give us a refund when we asked because he had done got rid of the original it been a month and the guy still hasn't fix the car and we paid 1200 for him to do so just to find out he over charged up 400 for the part if I could u would give him 0 starts and then blocked are number so we could call him
Wanted to update this we finally got our money back and went to a different person just to find out he charged us 400 more for a knock off part when there dealer ships part was was 400 cheaper this guy is a scamer and will over charge for knock off part and once we get the part off and new one on we will know if he even did replace it or not when we find out I will keep an update
Update
The second machine up at randys auto car got my car fixed he replaced the catalytic converter with on from the dealership and the o2 sensor for 900 come to find out that wrenches and ratchets auto shop charged us 1200 for on a catalytic converter and it was a after market.
Very very slow. So if you're in a hurry go elsewhere. And the majority of the waiting is the front desk lady chatting it up with customers and then going to put your order in for the worker to do the work that's needed for you.
