My friends I came here expecting a good time. We were met with this worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. We are now speeding back home trying to escape the memories we just made.
Our waitress did not check on us once. We had to get up to go find to her ask why our food was over an hour late. She informed us that our food was out! So we went back to our table only to wait another 10 minutes for our food.
It came out soggy, cold, and our chicken wings tasted like shrimp. They charge for tap water and don’t clean the tables. 0/10 experience.
I’m a disabled veteran with a service dog. My wife and I went to eat here for the first time tonight. It won’t be our last time either. The bartender drop my menu on the floor as she left the bar. Without hesitation or without seeing who saw, she quickly put the dirty menu to the side and grabbed a clean one. The food was good also.
Unfortunately there is no option for zero stars. We were served flat, very syrupy cokes. We immediately returned them and opted to pay for tap water instead. However we were still billed for the cokes. Crinkle fries are very thin and more like potato sticks than fries. Cod basket comes with two very small pieces of fish, I honestly thought it was a kids meal. Not worth the menu price of $15 that’s for sure. And upon biting into one of my pieces of fish a piece of chicken had been battered along with my fish. Very strange and makes you question cross contamination. Service was on the slower side. Took forever to get someone to come pick up our check, my husband ended up just taking it up to the bar himself and asking to be rang out so we could leave. We absolutely won’t be back.
Well went there last night with another person. It's wasn't too crowded some tables had customers. We sat down for some drinks, we wanted a season beer they didn't have, so we asked for a minute to decide. Waited roughly 5-10 mins no one came, then another waitress came, we knew what we wanted so asked for the 2 drinks specials. She walked away and never seen her come back with drinks. We waited a while I would say a good 5 more mins, so we're talking about a good 15 minutes, hardly anyone there and 2 waitresses. We even looked around for her and couldn't find her. We walked out. So it was slow, he had 2 waitresses to our table, 15 minutes passed, and no drinks. Plus we wanted food! So we left. What a joke! So I would come here a couple of times a month, even made good review on it way back in another post. But now I'm out! I don't give more chances when get my time wasted. So walked down the street block down north east side on the corner oak and ash, and wow! That's my new spot in Dowagiac. Lady came right out for order, got 2 drinks in seconds, and waters, place is large and roomy, lots of windows which is nice with the sun out, ordered 2 burgers and came with a side, $8.00 burgers, heck ya! Verse down the street, they were so good and guess what minnow? The food came out in like 3 minutes. Couldn't believe it. Service and food were top notch. 2 drinks, 2 burgers with side, under $40 with tip.
Dear owner of minnow, you lost 2 customers that would go there twice a month and more in the summer. And now my stop is oak and ash. Thanks for the terrible service as I found a new place that's great taste, great fast service with a smile and great price .
What a cool, local restaurant. The food was good, and the menu options were exceptional. I would recommend trying this place if or around Dowagiac.
If I could rate this restaurant as a whole it would be no stars. I ordered a captain and coke and the coke had absolutely no carbonation. The beer was also completely flat. When we told the waiter, he said he had already told the bar staff. The waiter was nice but didn't really seem to know his job. We ordered the salad bar which was $11 for a 3 ft salad bar and had to ask for a plate or bowl every time we wanted more. And they had to bring little cups of dressing to the table. It took at least 30 minutes to get our food. The meat on the nachos was cold and the cheese wasn't melted. I asked to speak to a manager and whoever it was didn't even get up off her barstool to come and talk to us. Then we were charged for drinks that we returned due to being flat. Don't go here! You will definitely be disappointed.
Went to lunch here. The pretzels were outstanding. Nachos were good pretty big serving for 1/2 order. Burger was really good bun was grilled love that! Waitresses were friendly and made sure we had a great meal. Great place to do ale the hubby to. T.vs abundant. Go blue!
I've been here 3 times in 10 years and today was the first time I've ever experienced awesome food with outstanding service. Lisa is the best. I will definitely be back more often. Food was delicious. K Train pictured.
