Best WLM Reviews

We all surprise that it surpasses our expectation. Our expectations were average given I drove pass it multiple times and not see much people inside during peak weekend dinner hours.
The menu is print in paper. We order the red steam fish $45 per pound and Boston lobster at $28 per pound. All taste good and doesn’t seem to overdose with MSG. The rice was hard but that’s just me.
I was anxious to post a good review fearing that their business may pick up and we would have to wait next time. My father and brother say their slightly higher price may keep the people at bay.
My friend has been telling me about the good dim sums of this restaurant. Finally we had a chance to come today for dine in Dim Sum.
We used to come here quite often when we were living in Montery Park long time ago. We hadn’t been here for awhile. The restaurant had changed hands many times then. According to my friend, the dim sums are still very good here.
The restaurant seemed to take all the covid safety measures for dine in. Tables were well spaced out and sanitizer was provided.
After looking over the limited dim sum menu, we decided to try out their steam BBQ pork bun, sticky rice in lotus wrap, steam rice noodle with shrimp, siu mai, and shrimp dumpling.
The verdict on the food: the dim sums were decent, tasty and fresh. All dim sums were steamed to order. The best dish for me was the Siu Mai. The pork was tender and bouncy. The flavor was fantastic. The steam BBQ pork was a bit dry. Over all, for less than $4, it’s a good value for the dim sum and the foods were above average. I would definitely come back to try their dinner as I saw a lot of promotion dea on the dinner menu。
Service was very friendly and efficient. We got our food in less than 5 minutes after ordering.
I was born in Guangdong, China and lived there for 18 years. I can say this is really authentic dim sum, and I highly highly highly recommend this. The food portions are big and the price is also decently affordable. It's a must-go, guys.
They really need more parking space. That aside, the food was okay.
We did our grandma's birthday here. We had the king crab. They cooked it in three different ways with different parts of the king crab. I thought that was awesome. However, the taste was just okay, nothing really special.
The service was not bad. Lots of waiters walking around, busy even though the restaurant wasn't that packed. We had to get our own napkins from time to time.
We had dim sum here as well.
Dim sum was not bad.
Most of their food don't taste that salty; However, we do get very thirsty afterwards. I think they used MSG, but not really sure. We did drinked lots of tea while eating, still got thirsty.
On grandma's birthday, they did give us free birthday-buns fill with sweets.
Their king crab was super expensive! Be sure to ask for the price before ordering it.
A hidden place (because the entrance is hiding in the alley - that’s why only 4 stars????). There’re a few of rooms you can host private party or enjoy the karaoke ???? if dining in the public dining hall. Overall, good food quality and displaying.
It is definitely one of the busier dim sum restaurant in the area, but the employees do try their best to have you seated as soon as possible. Beware that their menu are simplistic, tick-the-box style without any images. It'll be helpful if you know what you want to eat based on the names. I had to Yelp and Google the dishes to see what they were. The food definitely is worth the minor inconveniences. I highly recommend the roasted pork plate. They are cut in thinnest slices I have ever seen. And the flavor are top notch. Will come back.
Alaska crab (3 styles) special, $300. Regular price will be much higher.
Rest dishes are all good except one (jelly fish) but it's just OK.
Highly recommend.
Loved everything but the Peking duck meat was a little soft and didn’t taste as good as it should. Really liked the dim sum.
