Best WLM Reviews
Someone reviewed that Mr. Woori (maybe his name) is an artist instead of a barber. My 13 years old son walked out claiming that he was Mr. Woori’s masterpiece today! I’m glad he was happy with his haircut.
So I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you want the best haircut in Federal Way this is the place . Unless you speak Korean do not expect a lot of small talk. But this guy really knows how to cut hair and does it perfectly. I was going to him for the last couple years when my hair was shorter. And my dad still goes there and just went there a couple of days ago and he looks great. Give it a try you won't be sorry
The og woori retired recently and I was very disappointed by the new owner. The job he did was very amateur and he doesn't seem to have any professional training or experience. Nice guy but he has no business trying to earn a living as a barber. Sad as this was my favorite place. Would not recommend and will not go back.
Woori is not a barber, he is an artist.
I wish there was no language barrier because I would love to know his story and how long he has been cutting hair. He is truly a master of his craft. As others mentioned, you may have to show him a photo but he’ll give you the best haircut you ever had. He is a traditional barber who uses his scissors for 90% of the haircut and he’ll have you leaving with barely any hair on your head so you don’t need to home to shower. He really does put all these other (especially younger) barbers to shame.
So the price is now $20, but the attention to detail you get for your money is unheard of. The room is quiet, and he does not talk much, but you can tell he is engrossed in his work. I read in one of the comments that he might ask some people to leave without providing a haircut, so I just gave a respectful bow to him as I entered his store. In my experience, he was friendly, clean, and very professional. Loved the haircut.
Good hair cutting skills but I am concerned about the sanitary issue. Barber uses the same razor over and over without sterilizing it. This is very dangerous and possibly transferring diseases such as HIV, Hepatitis B and C.
Oh man oh man, let me tell you. Truly a hidden gem. Im incredibly picky about my hair and who cuts it. I have gone to multiple barbershop since I've moved here trying to find a place. I almost didn't go in because it doesn't look like much but I decided yo not judge a book by it's cover. Woori is old and doesn't speak much English but I showed him a picture of what i wanted and it was flawless. The way he does fades is a lost art. He is precise and a true master at his craft. I would HIGHLY recommend.
Woori is immensely skilled. Very thankful to find a barber with his talent. Note to first time customers he is cash only current price $20
