Best WLM Reviews

First off, I would like to say the service was on point as soon as we walked in the door, we were seated and greeted by the owners who are very sweet! They had a sample a lot of different dishes, I really enjoyed that seafood pancake, and the oxtail soup. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very comforting, and I felt like I was home, when you looked around and you saw other groups of people eating together, like families that made me happy. The prices were really good and the portions were huge I was with a party of three, and we were able to share all the dishes Due to the amount of food. I definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for some authentic Korean food with great hospitality.
The spicy galbijjim is a must. The pork one was actually better than the beef. Also their sullangtang is comparable to Han bat sullangtang, my all time favorite sullangtang place. There is a male server who just has the most energy and is super attentive and kind. Highly recommend if you’re in Gardena area and want some good Korean food.
Ordered the yukjaejang (early bird special). I've had better ones else where. They gave me 2 sides while other tables had more sides, maybe because I ordered the early bird special. I usually get like 4 side dishes when I didn't ordered off the early bird special.
I am often in the Torrance area for work and adore trying out all the local food spots my friend takes me to. Though on the outside, it may seem like a simple hole-in-the-wall restaurant, Wooga Sullungtang is genuinely an authentic Korean experience. The menu is in Korean and English, though if you are unfamiliar with this style of cuisine, you may want to research it before ordering. We went there on a weekday during lunch, and the only other patrons were older Korean women and a group of university-aged friends while K-Pop music videos played in the background. The staff was very friendly and kind, and though my friend spoke Korean and I did not, they still made me feel included (including one of the older servers sliding me a fork without even having to ask!). I had the beef short rib soup, and my friend had the ox bone soup. I still think about how good it was, possibly being the best soup I have ever tasted. I have yet to find a better place or anything remotely close to hitting the spot here in Seattle. I strongly encourage you to drop in if you’re in the area!
Had an excellent bulgogi soup here. Tasty banchan as well! Very nice servers and the servings are generous ( definitely meant to be eaten with a friend or two).
Super homey soup, really nice on these cold rainy days. Always love the sides and barely tea that comes with the meal. Service has quick and friendly. The place is clean and kpop plays in the background (not too loud). Super nice place to eat at, especially given the other stuff in the plaza
Arrived less than an hour before closing but they weren’t busy so they invited our party of 5 inside after seeing our hesitancy outside the front door. I wish I got their names but they were incredibly hospitable, helping us figure out how to best enjoy the dishes we ordered (we’re still learning about Korean cuisine) and were really accommodating. And everything was amazing!! We got the ox bone soup with beef brisket, mul naeng-myon (cold noodles with beef and pickled radish), haemul nok-du jeon (korean pancake with squid and shrimp and clam), and the spicy galbi-jjim (braised beef short ribs) which was our favorite.
Highly highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!
Came here on a cold day and decided to try their Mukeunji Jjim braised pork ribs with aged kimchi stew. First off, I like my food very very hot, so when restaurants bring the food out on a skillet or with a burner like this.. I’m just so excited!! The waiter pulled the kimchi up out of the stew and began to cut it. It looked so so good! They have us a side of brown rice which was also good and small cups of water. The sourness of the aged kimchi was strong but I really enjoyed it. The stew also had mushrooms, green onions and rice cakes! I will say this dish is not for the light hearted and if you’ve never had kimchi then try something else.. but I love kimchi and this stew was so so delicious! We had plenty left over also which we enjoyed the next day too!
