This is a small nice BBQ place. The two guys we talked to and that serviced us was so extremely nice. The food was great!!! We got the steak and pull pork. Pull pork was GREAT (what I got). A lot of food. We went into the other room and there was a bar and pool table. Yep we played pool and ate dinner. Was great! It’s my husbands and I 6 year anniversary. So was a nice evening, stayed at hot springs 5 miles away. ❤️ THANK YOU WOODY’S FOR SUCH GREAT FOOD AND KINDNESS.
Awesome food! As with everything in this area, not just cedarville, everything and everywhere is completely desolate. You can literally park anywhere, probably in the middle of the highway, and it wouldn't be a problem. I called the owner or manager of this place, having never been to this area at all, after a place in altruist couldn't so much as make as a grilled cheese for me. They had a very very minimal menu, the place in Alturas, but I've never ever experienced in my 40 plus years, any American restaurant that had all the ingredients come up but refused to make a grilled cheese. Since I had already ordered from that place for sob, I needed a place where I could eat food, and we were going to Cedarville anyhow, so I called Woody's when we were in town for a pre-order and it was ready when we showed up 15 minutes later
The food was really really good! The owner was awesome and fun to chat with. And I love the reason for the restaurant name! I started laughing when I realized ????
I was told that the gentleman that was waiting on me was the new owner. I was impressed with how well he took care of
everyone in the place all by himself. He was cheerful, helpful, and I could tell he really cared. My pizza was fantastic! I would definitely come here again.
Ordered to-go from Woody's and loved it! Big juicy burger with delicious BBQ sauce and fries cooked just the way I like them. They put ketchup and napkins in my to-go bag - I didn't even have to ask. The owners are friendly folks! I definitely look forward to visiting again. ????
Been to woody's twice now, both time it was horrible. Burger was good, fries were heavily burned. The guy who took my order (Cory I believe) was very rude and disrespectful to me and other customers. My co-worker was having a nice conversation with another random person, Cory overheard them and immediately blew his top off. He obviously didn't agree with the conversation that wasn't even about him in the slightest. It obviously made the atmosphere very awful. At least the poor asian lady all by herself trying to run the kitchen was trying her best, even with Cory yelling at her too. I gave them a second chance, won't be giving them a third. After talking with some of the locals, they all agreed that Cory is always like that. Unfortunate, especially for a place that could have so much potential.
First night we had the baby back Ribs then went back and had a pizza. Both were amazing. Definitely need to drop in if in Cedarville, you won't be disappointed
Back again March 2023. Had the French dip sandwich absolutely awesome.
Great dining experience. Didn't know we were stopping to eat, so glad we did.
Great place to get a beer and watch the game. The restaurant makes a fantastic burger. This is kind of a locals bar and everyone is really nice lots of hunting stories
