I’ve been eating at Woody’s for at least three years, because my momma lives nearby in a nursing home. The food is always on point here. Typically, I eat the southwest wrap with their yummy collard greens. The service is always great, too. Marie is usually my server. She knows my name, asks about my momma, and remembers my order. She’s also always friendly.
Marie was my server and she was excellent. It was my wife’s first time at a BBQ joint because she’s from up north. She fell in love with the food and the atmosphere!!! MARIE is a great waitress and the cook KHARI cooked everything perfect and on point!!! I highly recommend this place…..and we even bought a bottle of the tangy mustard barbecue sauce to take home with us for home cooking….
Come for the picture worthy BBQ, come back again and again for the spectacular service. Cindy is always delightful. My favorites are the chicken and the prime rib (shown here). They have Dukes on tap too. 10/10.
A very disappointing experience. The order was for a single lunch combo of pulled pork and brisket and the cost was $16, but the amount of meat I received was just laughable. The small cut of green beans represents the 'country vegetables' I ordered. I will not be returning.
Had lunch with my sister today at the Woody's on Powers Ave. Marie my server was wonderful. She was very attentive, the food came quickly, she made sure we were happy with everything and our drinks were kept full. And as far as the food - Chef Smooth did an amazing job. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. He is an amazing pit master!!! If you are in the area stop by for the best BBQ and service you can find!!! Love me some Woody's!!!
This restaurant is awesome absolutely awesome. The food is always on point. The service is beyond compare the attention to customers is without measure one of the highest compliments I can give. The waitress Marie is absolutely my favorite and one of the best servers I've ever met and never let me go without anything that I need or fails to come through with a special request that I may have excellent service quality personality just overall wonderful person. The cook DJ is one of the best. His food is absolutely delicious and flavorful every single time. The portions are well worth the price and then some but I must say the baby back ribs and the ribs are just to die for. I've been dining at this restaurant for many years, and I have always had the best experience the best meal, and have taken many of my family members to Enjoy a great meal here for sometime and as always, I've never ever had any kind of complaint I highly recommend recommend you try it out for yourself and you'll see exactly how good quality service and excellent food can enlighten your mood and change your day. Thanks for the great service guys as always y'all are wonderful and I appreciate you dearly.
We stopped for lunch today. (Memorial Day) Our server Marie was friendly and took very good care of us. Food was delicious and the service exemplary. We will return!
Myself and a coworker had lunch here in April 2024. Marie was our server, if you stop by for a meal, ask for Marie; she was great! I had a pulled pork sandwich, which was very good and I very much enjoyed it. Coworker had the prime rib sandwich which he advised was outstanding as well. Thanks to MJ for putting our meals together, all in all a really nice lunch. The restaurant is quaint down south bar b que... nothing fancy, but clean and good food with awesome service. I will be going back and I highly recommend.
