Best WLM Reviews

There were three of us, and the food rating ranged from 3-5, so I put 4. We were looking for something different and really didn't know what to expect. Woods & Main is cafeteria style food and service. The daily special was good, the staff was very friendly, but limited. All the locals were friendly, also! Games and toys were available for use, as well. All in all, it was a fun place to try.
Cute little small-town eatery. My husband and I stopped in on a road trip. We didn't want fast-food, and this was exactly what we were looking for. The food was fresh and made to order. My husband got the Sunrise burger which he said was very good. I had the Buffalo chicken wrap which was delicious. The fries were hot and crispy. We didn't wait long at all, even though there was a decent lunch rush. The atmosphere was cozy and fresh. It was very clean. They had a sheet of what looked like rice Krispy treats in a little self-serve dessert station that looked quite yummy, but we didn't try them. This was really a nice small community diner with great food and friendly atmosphere and affordable prices.
MN Twins fans on our way to Kaufman Stadium for season opener. So glad we stumbled across Woods & Main at lunchtime! Great service, delicious burgers and hand-cut fries and when the place is full of locals, you know you’ve hit the jackpot!
If you're traveling on 35 and hungry, this is a great spot! It's only a minute off the interstate. We're very glad we gave it a shot, way better than all the fast food options you're stuck with when traveling.
Very good, fast, and attentive service. I had the 8oz ribeye with loaded baked potato, TX toast, and side salad. My wife and daughter each got the shrimp basket. Some other sides were the mac n cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy.
The other food I saw coming out looked good as well.
Good portions, and the fact they were so quick was nice since we are traveling. It was about a 45 min stop by the time we got there, ordered, ate, got gas, and got back on I35. It's just west of Loves at the Eagleville exit.
Would definitely eat there again if we're traveling and go by around mealtime.
Again, the server was amazing. You don't get service like that very often anymore.
Awesome food! We arrived 10 minutes after they were closed for lunchtime and was still welcomed in. My husband had the teenderloin and was more than he could eat. I had the taco salad and one of the best ones I’ve had as it wasn’t just lettuce. Very friendly staff and owner. Glad we found them. Wish our small town had a place like this to support!
The scoop:
Burgers are $8 now; still a bargain.
Chicken sandwiches and sides and wraps as well; all a la cart, except for daily specials.
Brewed tea, bottled drinks; alcohol free.
Order at the counter then find a seat; large open space with ample seating.
Staff is kind and attentive; sincerely joyful.
Better than fast food; made to order.
Locally sourced veggies.
No frills, just solid fare at affordable prices. Stop in and see for yourself.
My wife and I were on our way back to the Fort Worth and wanted a place to stop for lunch. We stumbled upon the Wood & Main.
Y'all... This place is seriously good the prices are great and the food was wonderful. I got the Chicken Fried Steak special and it was one of the best down home meals I have ever had.
If you are local or driving through stop in. It is well worth it!
Taking a little road trip from MN to KC and wanted a local lunch spot.
This is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, the food is good home cooking, the prices are cheap and the staff is welcoming!
My husband had the special, chicken and noodles over mashed potatoes, dressing, green bean casserole and a roll -plus pumpkin pie cake for $10!
I had a cheeseburger with hand cut fries for $8. Seriously good food and great value.
It's worth the stop!
