Jason takes great care of our family cars! He is reliable, professional and easy to work with. He takes the time to diagnose issues with our older car and gives honest feedback on the best options available. I have found his prices to be fair as well. Most importantly, I trust him to repair and maintain my child’s car, keeping her safe on the road.
Jason is a great mechanic and I would trust him with any vehicle. He does great work and will never try to scam you for more money like bigger car shops sometimes do. Great person and great service, and great prices as well! Very trustworthy, I highly recommend.
I am a Mechanical engineer, and have also worked in many shops with both heavy equipment and automotive for over 25 years. With my experience, I can honestly say from what I have seen Jason is a really good mechanic. He charges a fair price. He is available, even after hours by phone. He can diagnose a car quickly and accurately. And he has a good bedside manner…. He willingly stayed after hours to get my job done, and he did not charge me an arm and a leg for the service. I actually cannot think of anything bad to say about him or his service.
I wouldn’t give this place any stars if i didn’t have to. Owner is extremely unprofessional. Purchased a used car from an individual in June that had just had an entire a/c compressor put in by Woods Auto. One month later the a/c wasn’t working so i called them to see if they could take a look at it since he did the original work. From the very first phone call he was unpleasant and told me to call back on Monday or Tuesday and he would see what he could do. Called Tuesday and he told me to drop the car off Friday at 10. Dropped the car off at 10 on Friday and after standing in the office waiting for someone for 15 minutes he shows up and right off the bat says to me this ain’t gonna be free. This is not why i brought the vehicle here. The reason was he had done the prior work so i thought it would easier for someone to find a leak if they were familiar with the vehicle. He tells me he will look at it but he’s gonna need to keep it over the weekend. I told him to just keep me posted and let me know what it was going to cost before doing any work. Didn’t hear from him so i called him Monday and he said he was working on it and was having trouble finding the leak. Hours later he calls to tell me that the brand new compressor he installed less than 3 months ago was leaking and it would cost me $450 to fix. That he couldn’t transfer the warranty from one owner to the next. I told him to forget it not very nicely and that i would pick the vehicle up the next day. After some not so friendly exchanges i left with my car not fixed. Very nasty during every interaction and unprofessional. Do not recommend doing any kind of business with this shop.
100 Miles from home broken down on the side of the highway. Was very fortunate to be near this shop as I called based on reviews. Got towed, he put aside his projects and fixed our vehicle up. Pleasant waiting room and he charged me a lot less than he should have.was on my way home in a few hours. He was grateful for the tip. And I was grateful for his services.
Jason is a very personable guy, a very good mechanic, and also provides a quality service. He's honest, upfront with the diagnostic and opinion on products, and I completely trust his judgement. His price is also cheaper than the competitors and that's a big plus.
Mr. Woods was a lifesaver for me because I had unknowingly let the tires on my car go too long and the car was handling erratically. He took it on the road with me and diagnosed the problem in 10 seconds! He got 4 new tires for the car and installed them the next morning. And I paid almost the same price I paid the last time I bought 4 tires over 2 years ago. Service doesn't get any better than that! Highly recommended!
