I love this hike. It was an easy walk with barely any incline. The fews are lovely.

Standing in the sky, overseeing the DC Metro area! Beautiful!

This is a really lovely bridge to get your exercise on while soaking in the beautiful scenery. Be it for biking, walking and running. It’s a 6 mile walk to and fro from Virginia to the Maryland side and vice versa. I really enjoyed riding on the bridge renting the capital bikeshare bicycle with a friend. It was so much fun! I highly recommend to all tourists and locals as well.

I enjoyed my walk, it was my first time so I got a little over 4 miles in. A lot of beautiful nature views along my long enjoyable stroll.

Super cool bridge. Fun to walk across though windy and loud. Underneath on VA side is great for bike riding with kids.

The Virginia side of the bridge in Alexandria overlooks Jones Point. This was the cornerstone of the 1st Federal City Washington, DC. The lighthouse still stands, along with boundary markers before land divisions between Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia. Trails, playgrounds, and public restrooms all can be found within walking distance.

I really love coming here with my son and also to workout. I usually go early in the morning around 7 or 8 and there is plenty of parking. If you go later in the day or evening it can get really packed. The great thing is there are always cops patrolling the area as well for safety. Its very clean as well. You're kids can also play or ride their bikes. There is also a nearby park as well. You can also walk into old town from the bridge as well or you can walk the bridge into Maryland. In all is a great location.
