Food is always good here! The specials don't disappoint. Service is friendly and quick. This location is on the smaller side, if you want more room, go to the one on Fulton. Good to have a local option instead of all the commercial chain restaurants and bars.
Food is always good at this location! The spicy garlic traditional wings are the best in the city, partly because they are consistent. The salads and even the side salad are very good! Service has always been good for me. Atmosphere I gave 5 stars if sports bar atmosphere is what your looking for. The uncovered patio seating is a bit more laid back if the weather is nice.
I agree with one of the reviewers, it is a bit small inside. I actually ate on the patio, which was nice. Monday is 65 cent for traditional wings. They do have daily good specials! Which is a great deal! I ordered the Cajun wings, they did have a bite to them, but I do like spicy/hot stuff. Also had artichoke dip with chips. The dip was good, the wings were good and the server was very attentive and friendly. I really have nothing bad to say, I ate there many months ago inside, and it is quite small, but the service and food were good.
Had an excellent dinner. All of the sides tasted great, especially the Mac n cheese. The Mothers day lobster special for only $22 is a bargain.
This was my first time going to Winking Lizard. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger meal, and it was excellent. All burgers come with steak fries, those were good as well, although they weren't very hot. I guess my only complaint would be that this location is small, my two friends and I were told it would be about a 30 minute wait for a table. We were on a time schedule so we opted for a seat at the bar. Every time the door opened we were freezing. It was a very cold day.
We ordered here and had ok service till our food got there. Absolutely horrible service,
And our chicken sandwich was raw. The manager tried forcing me to take our pizza home after we said it was gross as well. ( it was all mushy and watered down once again not cooked.) Said “if u don’t take it home I’ll watch you all the way to your car.” Totally made us feel uncomfortable and we will never go back!
Paid $40+ for nasty food we didn’t eat…
She also asked “will you come back to the winking lizard?” No we will not.
I can’t believe we had this type of service spending this kind of money.
Stopped here for a lunch and enjoyed it. Typical sports bar fare with burgers, chicken sandwiches, pizzas fries and beer taking pride of place. Very extensive beer menu with lots of options on draft and in bottle.
Food was ok. I asked for extra spice on my cajun but the mix was mostly salt, cayenne, and black pepper. The burger had scant cheese on it as well.
Waitress, jess, was great though. She got a good tip.
Loved coming here, great wait staff and the haddock sandwich was delicious and massive!
Update, still awesome. Pizza, Mac and burgers were excellent as were the wings.
