I've been there before but this trip was by far the worst. Out of our party of 3 two of the dinner's were terrible. It took extra long to get our meals and we had to listen to the staff yelling, giggling and chasing each other out of the back. The one plate was really good, too bad all of the game playing in the back and two thirds of the meals being bad had to ruin the experience. I won't go back.
Went there for the first time. Wanted to try something new and was very disappointed. The service was okay but the food was terrible. Ordered 3 meals plus an appetizer. The fried pickles appetizer tasted like it was reheated in the microwave. It was room temperature. Our actual dinners were bad. 2 out of the 3 were room temperature or cold. The third wasn't bad as the chicken was hot but very dry but everything else was cold. Even after we sent one plate back because it was literally cold and I only ate 2 bites they still charged us for it, in stead of just charging for the sides. They told us it was a new cook but even if it was they really need to make sure their food comes out hot even if it is microwaved. We wont go back nor will we recommend it to anyone.
Food and service were both good. I had the Bourbon Glazed Burger with house chips. Fresh patty, not frozen and was cooked to perfection. One of the better burgers I’ve had. Kids had chicken fried steak, green beans, and corn. They both said it had good taste. Husband had the open faced roast beef. Taste was good but could have used more gravy as the meat was a little dry. He certainly could’ve asked for more but did not. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it smells like cigarette smoke from the bar side.
The servic is outstanding! Always pleasant and server greets us with a smile. Food is good. I recommend Bourbon bacon cheeseburger, wings, fried chicken on Sunday, all you can eat catfish every Friday, pastas and wraps.
Ate there for dinner . This place needs more servers and a bigger dining room .bought the 14.99 fish dinner for 2 . Would of liked coleslaw, hushpuppys ,even greenbeand on the plate. The servers were very busy .did a good job. Got better amount of food else where for 14.99 ..they next Friday dinner outing.
Have been here numerous times over the years. Even when it was anchors restaurant, and they had AMAZING food. My husband and i went there for his birthday dinner tonight and the food was TERRIBLE. I will never order a steak from here again. Honestly, until reviews improve, or i hear of a new cook, i probably wont return. Also, the flies inside were soo bad, that that alone almost ruined my appetite. Disappointed for sure. Used to be a favorite spot
The place was packed. They only had 1 server for the dining room and carry out. It took 3 hours to get lunch. Drink refills were extreamly slow. Our drinks were empty most of the time. When i asked for a pitcher of water for the table I was told she wasnt allowed to leave pitchers on the tables. I ordered the Ruben. It had almost no sour kraut on it, but it was a good corn beef sandwich.
I am sooooo excited to have a such an AMAZINGLY TASTY place so close to home ???????? I decided to order a few different things. Bone in mild buffalo wings with ranch???????? best wings ever.. they are HEAVEN , a side of shrimp and I mean SHRIMP ... and clams WOW ! I am absolutely THRILLED ???? I will most definitely come back for the food and the service was PERFECTION!
