I am over the moon with Windy City Nail Service!
Jenny is my nail tech and is an absolute necessity to my life. I’ve included pictures of her work and I can say it speaks for itself. I love the atmosphere of this spa. It’s warm , welcoming, and very client-oriented. My favorite part is bringing in pictures to choose my next nails and we will work together to find the correct colors. It’s something trivial but I find a lot of joy in it whenever I come to visit.
The entire staff is so friendly and are very quick to answer any questions or comments. I have received MANY compliments from clients, friends, and family and I always direct them to Windy City Spa.
I highly recommend them as your neighborhood spa. They offer dip acrylic/gel extensions, pedicures, and much more at a Reasonable price. I suggest scheduling an appointment because this is a neighborhood hot spot!
I’ve been coming here with my daughter all the way from the suburbs for months. The people here do an awesome job and the prices are so incredible compared to places out by us. I break nail’s regularly at work and they are always so great about it. Large polish selection. The inside isn’t super fancy. But I don’t care when the work is good and the prices don’t break the bank. This set is 3 weeks old and I do manual labor. So yea their quality is awesome here!
It’s good if your in a hurry , they get you out within an hour, however they rush you with everything, pick a color , sit, grab your stuff move to table. They cut your nails really quick don’t even them out, file really fast and don’t give you a chance or time to pick out a color they always suggest a color they like or other customers get. 3 times they pressured me to get a color I didn’t like and they yes very nice.
Today a customer came in 45 minutes early and the lady working on my mani & pedi was rushing me to pick a red. Her color she picked was orange. I also have to file my nails because they don’t even them out.
One lady said the manager makes them get mani n pedi done in a hour.
Managed gas they girls neverous and rushed , he should book appointments for an hour 15 minutes time to pick out a color, give the girls h time to eat n use restroom.
It’s slavery and poor customer service.

Very nice owners. Super sweet & funny. This is thee only place that has paid attention to how many protective coats one needs before a no chip. No burning, no scraping, no yanking & were very accommodating & quick. Can get busy so please call ahead. Busy means business is good because they do a great job. Waiting a bit is worth it but I called ahead & I got right in as soon as I got there.
I love coming here! I always go with Kimberly. She always gets my nails on point and her ideas always reflect beautifully.

Love this place. They are like family. My nail technician is Tammy and does an amazing job with my nails. I give her samples I want and she knows exactly what to do. The prices are reasonable compared to other locations. I wish them well and prosperity in their business. Thank you Windy City Nails
I am very sad having to write this review because I have been coming to this salon for years trying to patronize a local business, but the service is so inconsistent that I can no longer come here. Getting your nails done should feel like a relaxing experience and at this salon for me it has typically been stressful or painful. Today, I came to get my nails done and was burned with hot water on my feet and a hot towel, and my technician didn't even file my toe nails before she began polishing them. I had to ask her why she didn't and it made the service awkward. I always chose a polish set that has a match with regular polish for my toes and no chip polish for my hands and when I left today I noticed my hands and feet were two different colors. I didn't have time to change it and I hate complaining so I just left. I am so unhappy with how it looks, and I still tipped them for their time. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened to me there, but it takes a long time to correct it and have the nails repolished. I also got my eyebrows waxed today and the room where they did the waxing smelled terrible, like garbage or dirty mop water. In the past, I have left with cuts around my cuticles on my hands, which burns so badly when acetone touches it and it goes under uv light and aside from two technicians who are very nice, and the owners, I am usually dealing with techs who aren't very nice or friendly like today. I am disheartened by this experience because I drive far to come to this shop, despite having moved from the neighborhood and I always tip well because I recognize that the techs deserve to be paid for their time, but I never consistently like my nails when I leave here and unfortunately they don't have consistently good service, or offer newer nail colors. I'm very sad to say that I can no longer recommend this shop and I will have to find another one after today as well.
