Drove out of my way to get a good Chicago roast beef sandwich. Just got home opened up my sandwich and this is what I found. Where's the beef? Almost $18 for this sandwich and the jar of jardiniera. So disappointed. Flavor of the beef is good that's why it gets two stars.
It’s not too often that I have to post negative reviews about a restaurant. My family and I eat here almost once a week if not twice a week to receive the type of treatment that we received today I’m in a complete shock. The fact that I spent almost $60 on wings to watch them serve a white family that walked in 10 minutes behind us and tell me to be told that “wings take a little longer when that same white family order wings as well”…
My family and I will no longer be supporting Windy City Restaurant here on Eastern due to outright discrimination we were subjected to. Would appear to be the manager of the restaurant tells me “wings take longer “ no sir I’ve eaten at your restaurant and have supported your business for the past two years to be subjected to treatment. I’m very disappointed. There are many wing locations here in the Henderson area please avoid this restaurant at all cost if you are a person of color.
Love this place! Food is great, service is great, and I love the atmosphere. Wonderful place to get together with friends and family. A beautiful pizza as well!
I recently visited Windy City Beefs N Pizza in Las Vegas, and I just have to say, this place is amazing! If you love Chicago-style food, you absolutely have to check it out.
As soon as you walk in, you get this welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. The menu is packed with all the Chicago classics like Italian beef sandwiches, deep-dish pizzas, and those iconic hot dogs. I started with the Italian beef sandwich, and wow, it was fantastic! The beef was so tender and flavorful, and the bread had the perfect crunch. Adding the giardiniera gave it that extra kick that made it even better.
I couldn’t resist trying the deep-dish pizza, and it did not disappoint. The crust was buttery and flaky, the cheese was perfectly gooey, and the sauce was rich and delicious. It’s like a slice of heaven! And the Chicago-style hot dog? Absolutely on point. It had all the traditional toppings, and the combination of flavors was just perfect.
The staff here is super friendly and helpful. They really know their stuff and are passionate about the food they serve. They made some great recommendations and were happy to chat about the menu.
The atmosphere is really cozy and laid-back, with cool Chicago memorabilia all around. It’s a great spot for a casual meal with family or friends, or even a low-key date night.
All in all, Windy City Beefs N Pizza is a must-visit if you’re in Las Vegas. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, you’ll love the food and the warm, welcoming vibe. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu!
Preface: When I called about these issues, they did apologize and credit me for a replacement. We ordered a large sausage & pepperoni; no pepperoni on the pizza and pretty light on the sausage. Also, the pizza was fairly burned and 1/3 of it was inedible. (Perhaps their oven needs calibration or something?) Customer service was good when I went in to pickup and when I called to complain. Will update if replacement pizza changes our mind.
The beef was terrific, giardiniera was authentic. It's great to see that they didn't skimp on the gravy! But what I was disappointed about was their pizza, if you order pepperoni, they take a slice of cheese that had been sitting for awhile and put pepperoni in top and reheat which you can tell as the bottom was a bit burnt and you don't taste the pepperoni in the cheese or Dough. You can also tell as the taste is like reheated pizza and not fresh.
Otherwise the atmosphere was great and decorated with true Chicago stuff. I would go again but probably stay away from the pizza.
So over all I love this place most authentic Chicago food in Vegas. They serve you the food the same way they do in Chicago pizza on a stand fries in a bag everything like that. The only thing that I've been upset with is the service has fallen off allot since I started going here. New people don't have the drive to really keep up. Hope this part will change but overall best Chicago food I've had in Vegas.
I ALWAYS stop here whenever I come to Vegas. Everything has been delicious and authentic, and is a delightful taste of Chicago.
