Windrose Bar & Grill on Tybee Island is a true gem! The coastal charm and laid-back atmosphere make it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The menu offers a great variety of delicious, well-prepared dishes. I particularly enjoyed the seafood options, which were fresh and full of flavor. What an absolute gem! Don't be fooled. This may be a bar but the food doesn't taste like bar food. It's much better!
We were walking back from the beach and saw a sign for their taco special so we stopped in.
We split the HUGE 2 taco + chips & salsa platter and also split the spinach artichoke dip with pretzels. Everything was delicious.
The tacos were surprisingly quite large and full of flavor! Chicken, red onion, corn, cheese, and Chipotle mayo. They could not have been better. The salsa was Mexican restaurant quality.
The spinach dip was so creamy and flavorful. We got way more pretzel bites than I anticipated. This was a great appetizer!
We had a very poor restaurant meal the night before so this was much needed and appreciated!
Reasonable prices, large portions, friendly service, fun decor/atmosphere.
10/10.....I would visit again and again!
It's a cute dive bar at the beach. Ariel the bartender is wonderful! We had a few drinks...no food.
What an amazing job Ariel did mixing our drinks. I got a Sex on the Beach, while my husband got a Piña Colada. Both drinks were delicious, and the service was outstanding. I am glad we chose this establishment for our cocktails.
I love this bar! Nice and quaint and always fun to chat with people as well as people watch haha. One of my local favorites and a must if you're on Tybee!!
DEFINITELY a locals spot and quick stop from the pier if your visitors. Best food and DRINKS on Tybreesa! Smoking permitted (no kids permitted). Video games in the back occasionally a band.

Had well whiskey and Budweiser. Great atmosphere :) a locals bar so no annoying tourists lol
Was given no issues about having a large service dog - he was offered his own water :)

Great bar with amazing drinks and staff . Make sure you get some of Brenda’s famous fried chicken . It’s so good !!
