Was told 30 to 40 minutes to wait, and it took over an hour. If I had not driven so far to try this place, I would have left. I will start with the good and that is the food. The portions were large, the quality was good, and the prices were fair. The disappointing part first was the mentioned wait. Service was also very lacking. We sat with long, amounted times with no refills. I ended up going to the bar and getting it myself. There was a long wait to get our check.
It was a very relaxing environment. Everyone was pretty quiet. The music was at appropriate level. The bartender was very nice. I would say the food was adequate. It didn't knock my socks off, but I would go there to get food again, I wouldn't really it call a saloon. I've been to a few authentic saloons and that wasn't one of them but the ambiance and the decor was definitely Western theme.
A nice place. Very friendly staff and tasty food. I ordered the 12oz ribeye, plain baked potato (butter on the side), and the onion rings. The potato wasn't as hot as I would've liked but it was warm enough that I didn't feel the need to send it back. Steak was tasty and nicely prepared.
Over all good little place to eat busy but where there good food that's expected would of been 5 stars but it's a Extra 20 for over night parking in force by gas station. But it is what it is. Still a very good place.
I had the Ruben Sandwich and I really enjoyed it. The corned beef was good and the sour kraut was fresh! Onion rings were delicious!
Came here as a pit stop for lunch and the service was excellent..waiter was very polite with great conversation. She made sure we was filled with drinks and we had all we wanted..food was great as well..I had the country fried steak which was juicy and plenty..mash potatoes was on point..could taste the homemade. Bonus was speaking to other staff ladies who were great as i inquired about Keno a lottery ticket which I purchased and lost????..oh well better luck next time..lol Overall I would recommend going to get a little bit of home cooking while on the road.
Talk about a hidden gem! First time in for lunch and I would recommend it to everyone. Clean and nicely decorated, I was not expecting the cool atmosphere. I always love to sit at the bar for a quick lunch and a well priced beer and this place was perfect for it. The thing that took the most time was deciding what to order on the menu! Front and back of the menu had so many awesome choices! The friendly bartender told us the daily food and drink specials and helped make great recomendations. Couldn't decide between a burger or the BBQ pulled pork... so she suggested having it all, the amazing Cowboy Melt! Burger patty topped with BBQ pulled pork, bacon, and onion ring on Texas Toast w peperjack cheese. WOW, definitely coming back!
