I love love windows reminds me of my mom growing up, taking us there, but the bar is super nice there but do not understand Spanish so it’s kind of hard to communicate. That’s amazing.

Winchell's is the best donut place in Uptown Whittier and it's been around for a long time since its debut in 1948. I enjoy the chocolate donut and the blueberry muffin, they were so good!
Funny tasting eggs horrible salsa weird combination of breakfast burritos. Cashier didn't even speak English and was pretending to speak it just repeating words fast without understanding me or my questions. There's also no public restrooms which is bad because it's like inviting someone to your house and not allowing them to was their hands or relief themselves
Call in as you are ordering (before you click place order) your Doordash order to select the donut choices after ordering on the app, and you get exactly what you want.
They are great!
Been coming here since we moved to Whittier almost 2 years ago. We come at all times of the day night even past 12am sometimes. Customer service gets 5++stars. They are always super nice friendly and welcoming. The food is always amazing I not much of a donut person but my bf is and ge loves them. I love the bagels and the hot sandwiches. My to go to is the pastrami sandwich on an everything bagel.
They never have anything other than coffee and donuts. Tried to get something different on multiple occasions only to be told they’re not available at the moment which contradicts what the menu let alone the bagels sitting in plain sight.
