Wilson's Automotive re-worked my exhaust that another shop had just put in wrong. I paid the other guy & got my car out of there.
Wilson's did a GREAT job on fixing the exhaust properly!!! Very friendly & professional. They also made sure I liked the work before finishing up.
I've already scheduled more work for them on my vehicles. They are worth the wait!!! Highly recommended.
Took time out of their super busy day to run diagnostics on my truck to confirm we had an alternator problem and allowed us to borrow tools and a parking spot to replace the part ourselves. Super friendly and accommodating and didn’t want to charge for their willingness to run the test we needed. Highly recommend them to be a trustworthy business. While on vacation, 12 hours from home, we had an incident getting off the Mobile Bay Ferry during a storm and high tide. Long story short short our exhaust on our vehicle was damaged and pulled apart in the middle. Our insurance company wanted us to try and find a local shop to "check it for safety". When we called it was a little after 4:30 and they closed at 5. I called and they said that they would look at it if we could bring it in. Luckily we happened to be about 15 minutes away. They looked under it and said it was safe to drive and they could do the work in the morning. I brought it back the next morning and they fixed it while I waited. We ended up having more damage than originally thought and they repaired it all. I couldn't be happier with the service I received from them. They really helped my family out in a time of need. I couldn't recommend them more.
Wilson's replaced header gasket, installed longer header bolts, changed spark plugs. Was informed my headers were not bent and were fine. This cost me $650. Three weeks later, I have an exhaust leak. This is the same leak that I took it to them for in the first place. Five days ago I spoke to a lady who said they would return my call. Never heard a word. Called and left two voicemails today, never heard back. I'm going up there in the morning. If nothing is done about this, then yes avoid this place at all cost. At-least give me the courtesy of calling me back.

Customer Service: not friendly or polite (wouldn't have mattered if they did decent work)

Do not take your vehicle here.
I was told to drop my vehicle off at a certain time they had an opening and did so, punctually. A week went by without them even inspecting the vehicle to see what parts they needed to order. (Normal organizations would have checked and ordered the part whilst working on other vehicles in the meantime.)
After calling 4 or 5 times, I received a call back (@ 3:30pm) telling me that the part would be in the next day, and it would take a full day to install it. The next day (@12:00pm), I was phoned to pick up my vehicle.
I was charged the full price of the estimate. Magically, the part arrived and was installed within at best 5 hours if work started at 7am despite being billed for 8 hours of labor.
My vehicle was allegedly checked after the work, but it makes more noise and feels like I am pushing another vehicle. If this vehicle check occurred, they would have noticed immediately the installation was wrong and the loud noise caused by it.
After they stole about a $1000, I decided to eat the loss rather than deliver my vehicle into their hands to screw up and charge me additionally.
I got ready to leave for work only to notice I had a completely flat tire. We took off the tire because I did have a spare and proceeded to find a local shop to repair it. We called two different places and went to 2 or 3 different places in the area only to be told there was over an hour waited each. Then, we went to Wilson's. Not only were they prompt and professional, they were also affordable. They will be our go-to tire shop in the future. Due to them assisting us, my husband will be able to make it to work on-time after he puts my tire back on.
I love this place, and these people. It's wonderful to have someone you can count on to keep your vehicles maintained and repaired. I've had several different services performed here, and everything was done wonderfully. And, I was introduced to an excellent body shop recommended by John. It's comforting knowing that people like this still exist.
If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I had a flat tire at my house (tires and nails don't go together) and they came over, air'd up the tire then I went to the shop just a few blocks away and they fixed my tire in about 15 minutes. Then did not charge me an arm and leg. Just $15. I would recommend them to anyone. Very nice and very good!
