For the beach, you would think that the menu, and it's prices were a misprint. It is not! Great prices and great burgers! We stood for 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged our existence, But, once we were on the list, we were in, and treated like family. The big gooey was a favorite and the tater tots were quite nice!
The wait to get seated is a bit ridiculous; there was no one talking or acknowledging who was standing waiting on a table. We did get sat in under 10 minutes, which was nice as they were busy. The food is wildly over priced 5 lobster bites for $12 and 5 poppers for $9. The table service was very slow and sporadic. They were out of Elote bites. They wouldn't let us order our apps and entrees together. Which is fine but then they didn't come back until we were well done with the apps by then.
Very relaxed vibes. Straight forward beach restaurant. I loved the authentic feel. And it didn't feel like they were doing things for the 'gram. The restaurant had fish, burger, chicken and more options. They don't have fries, but they do have tater tots. Apparently, the coleslaw is amazing. But I didn't try it. I asked for mahi mahi as a sandwich. They have outdoor and "indoor" seating options. Be aware that if you are sitting outside, others can smoke right next to you.
Everything is good here. This is such an unassuming little tiki-hut style, open air restaurant (which is cool). Whoever is cooking is doing a GREAT job!! (Seared Ahi tuna, blackened snapper, fish sandwich..) And the staff is fun, laid back..nice people. Thanks, ladies!????????????????
Fun Mom and Pop place to go for good bar food, although plan on spending ALOT of time there. We waited 1/2 hour for a table. Once seated, our waitress got our drinks out pretty fast, but we waited 30 minutes for our appetizer (which was cold when we got it), then waited ANOTHER 30 minutes for our dinner (which was delicious!).
$2.85 cocktails on Mondays and they were good! Fish sandwich was huge! Fried green beans in tempura batter with spicy ranch were awesome! Serve tater tots only, no fries. Everything was affordably priced and good sized portions . Would eat here again!
I was under the impression that food was great at this place. Unfortunately it ended up being a huge disappointment. Burgers were huge and tasteless, buns were so oily and tots were very oily and tasted like fried fish. Wings were not prepared properly and were also very oily and disgusting, dipping sauce was blue cheese and ranch by name but the taste said something totally different. Pastrami Reuben sandwich with very slimy and greasy and not even eatable. Nice place for a drink being close to the water but not for eating.
This would be my spot if I lived near here. It’s so cool. Bartenders and wait staff are fantastic. The prices are the best around. The burgers are amazing.
