This is a hidden gem of Sac. Drove past is 10x before I noticed it. Took over a month to try it. And they have good parking.
The food was great. Got a burger n garlic fries. Next time I wanna get a milkshake.

The service was fast and the food was excellent. Especially great was how late they are open ! We had midnight munchies and boy was it good! Even the famous Sacramento Police dept where also enjoying the food ????
The single burger was super fresh and made perfectly!

I thought that the food was good. I wasn't blown away, though. The onion rings were crispy and delicious. Seating is limited, and outside seating is available.
I had a double cheeseburger, and it was pretty good. Nothing that made it stand out, but it was good enough that I will go back again. Definitely had some other menu items I wanted to checkout, but being my first visit I went with the cheeseburger as a litmus test.
I was so looking forward to a Chili Tamale and fries and hadn't been to Willie's in a while. Tamales still on the menu but no longer served. Thanks Willies it's been fun. I stopped going to your store in Old Town and today I walked a mile down to get some chili tamales. Absolutely no reason to return... pro-tip maybe take Tamales off the menu if you no longer serve them. Because I had walked a mile and no other options... Had a chili burger instead, definitely not the same.
Was pumping gas next door when I saw Willie’s Burgers and decided to give it a try. This place isn’t life changing, but it is certainly good. I had the regular burger (Hammer 1) and chili cheese fries. Everything was fresh. The burger was standard but the chili cheese fries were amazing. I was not expecting such big portions for such a low price. Will come again to pair the chili cheese fries with a shake.

The burger was hot, all of the ingredients tasted fresh. All of the condiments come together and offer a good burger. The burger patty is thin but perfectly fine by me. The fresh were hot and perfectly salted. A small order could easily feed two.
The ambiance is a perfect hole in the wall gem, supplies are stacked on tables in chairs in the dining room, the environment is clean and actively being cleaned inside and out.
I will have to return and try other menu items. Lots of customers combined with the short hours of operations seems to tell me it's a local hot spot.
