Brooklyn Egyptian run halal food cart. Nice guys working. The lamb plate was delicious, meat was tender and spiced perfectly, go easy on the hot sauce. Also really enjoyed the falafel sandwich could be more crisp but it was def high quality falafel. Fish wrap also good, takes a bit longer to prep but worth waiting.
Normally these trucks give me the same
Vibe but the Lamb here is a bit better than most of the Halah trucks your going to go to. It’s sad that the Mexican food truck is blocking this gem because we almost couldn’t find it ! But the gyro was worth the hunt . lamb Gyro was perfect and mixed platter was great ! I finished both because I was fresh out the gym and needed the calories to refuel it was great !
Situated near Pod Brooklyn hotel. i always order takeout dinner from this place. the food is really great! and it is convenient for people who are staying at the hotel nearby and need halal food! I love the Chicken over Rice as well as Fish Over Rice. The portion is worth it! and i feel it is more tasty than The Halal Guys (just my personal preference).
The owners are really welcoming and friendly, i really appreciate the food and service here. Highly recommended!
Great middle eastern style chicken and rice. Always busy so best to order ahead. Service is great as well. All servers are very pleasant.
I live in Brooklyn and I eat a lot of chicken over rice.. and I can easily say that this is the best chicken over rive I have had in NYC, juicy tender chicken laying over a bed of delicious fluffy rice, I like it with some salad on the side, hot sauce, and DON’T forget the white sauce! Thank me later
Simply amazing! Had my first lamb over rice and it was beyond delicious. The only fault is that I don’t live closer to this spot. They were kind enough to recommend I pay with cash to avoid taxes. Can’t wait to be back. Food was fresh, customer service was friendly & efficient.
Food here is amazing and affordable, and unlike some past reviews, it always smells so good passing this cart. My go to is chicken and rice, make sure to get both sauces (hot sauce is really good). The cook/server is always friendly too!
The best chicken over rice ever. Love my Habibi guys. You guys are so good I always come back to you. I work for Grubhub, and I always stop in to get a plate when I need dinner. The chicken is deliciously marinated. Everything is fresh and so good. Never had a bad meal here. Please try them out. I don’t really like that much Halal food. I’m very picky. This is pretty much the only one I will eat.
