Best WLM Reviews
A truly delightful restaurant where the complete menu is plant-based. The service was super friendly and our waiter was very knowledgeable, giving us the full background on every menu item. The selection was good and our dishes were really tasty. This place is warmly recommended for a healthy yet tasty lunch or dinner.
My skepticism about vegan food and that it may have only limited choices was shattered at this place. Menu is pretty elaborate and can very well satiate quite a few people with different tastes. Drink options are nice too. Definitely recommending this place, and going back some time soon.
The food and drinks are really well made. It's a decent vegan restaurant with fast service.
The orange and beet pâté is a must try. Mushroom risotto needs more flavor and should be more on the al dente side. Pumpkin ravioli is good, but within expectations.
The only thing I wish they could do better is to expand the menu a little bit and remove the items that "imitate" meat. Veggie in its own form is perfectly fine.
Barring the distasteful experience of the hosts unable to understand how a waitlist works, the rest was near perfect.
We ordered mezcal drinks to start off and I personally recommend Salt and Pepper. We went ahead with crowd favorite Wild Mushroom Zeppole and its side aioli dip was spot on. Polenta Cakes was decent & Mezze Plate was my favorite.
And of course the warm chocolate chocolate cake for dessert which ended our dinner on a great note. The cacao nibs, oat milk chocolate gelato was something new that I tasted and absolutely loved it. We'll visit again surely, hopefully with a better people experience to start with. ????
Fantastic vegan place! Had the Carrot Lox on sourdough. Wow, it had such great flavor. Great juice options. Good food all around. I didn't miss the meat.
I honestly never thought I could love 100% plant based food, but I did here! Everything was delicious and the cocktails were fun and tasty.
Mezza plate highly recommended app. The falafel and baba were yummy but the coconut feta was ridiculously delicious. Where can I find more of this??
Curried cauliflower was so good we ordered a serving one. (We shared family style)
Polenta cakes didn’t sound great but believe or not they were!
Had one of the salads but I forget which. Dressing was tasty but at the end of the day, it’s just a salad.
My favorite was the sausage flatbread. Not meat sausage of course, but still incredible.
Yellow curry with brown rice his the spot.
Risotto was creamy and buttery. I shudder to think hope much butter was in there!
Warm chocolate cake and Crumble for dessert. Perfect enders .
For strings I recommend the Bakers Beach and I Got Ube (get it, Sonny and Cher fans?).
It’s quite pricey but really enjoyable.
I am always looking for an amazing vegan place and I am glad I found Wildseed. The menu was superb and the service was outstanding.
We made reservations from before and made it here with a group of friends. The outdoor seating is cute and cozy and catches your eye right away. We sat outside and turned on the heat as well. Our server attended to us right away and told us more about their cocktails. We enjoyed couple and then ordered some shared plates for the table. The food was really yum and had so much flavor. The cheese (which was vegan ofc) was super soft and brilliant tasting.. perhaps made of cashews :)
We are definitely coming back again. Our friends who live closer have already made it back again!
VEGAN HEAVEN! Wildseed is one of the most unique places I have been too. I started off with the beet root juice and the Telegraph hill. The Telegraph hill was really refreshing and there were real preserves in the drink. It is a different type of kefir. The beetroot juice was really refreshing and had a lot of ginger in it. The flatbreads pizza with Italian sausage is really tasty as the tomato sauce was acidic and sweet. The flatbread was crunchy and thin . THE SAUSAGE WAS AMAZING. The Italian sausage tasted exactly like normal sausage which was a pleasant surprise. The masala neatball bowl was sooooo tasty and the sauces were warm and creamy without any cream. The meatballs were really crunchy and tasted like falafel. The greens were really fresh. The pasta was also amazing. There were a lot of greens and the sausage tasted impeccable. The ambiance was beautiful especially when you sit outside. The service was also good as the employees were kind and fast. Overall would definitely come again on the more expensive side but I would also recommend!
