Curtis is the most knowledgeable Big Dog expert and mechanic in Socal. He knows every system and parts of all models. He was able to diagnose my 15 year chopper and repair it to better-than-new condition. Curtis also completed some above and beyond repairs that showed his passion for Big Dog bikes. Thank you Curtis!
Curtis has worked on my big dog K-9 and two of my Ironhorse Texas Choppers as well as one totally custom chopper. There is no other motorcycle mechanic in southern California that I would feel as comfortable with working on my show bikes than Curtis! Curtis is awesome. He knows these bikes forward and backwards. He's very giving of his time to answer any questions you have and shares his knowledge with you should be doing the work yourself. I don't live in California but he's my go to guy for anything my Big Dog needs.
The reviews are right on; Curtis is a great guy who really knows his stuff. But what the invoice won't tell you and what sets him apart is his attention to detail; the extra effort, the research, going above and beyond to make sure your bike is in top form. Unfortunately, there's not many guys like him around nowadays with old school ethics; he treated me like a friend, my bike like it was his, and my bike has never run or ridden better. Highly recommended.
The communication, product knowledge, service, and professionalism are TOP NOTCH. If you are a custom bike owner Curtis at WSW is a godsend! I found Curtis after my regular shop completely blew a repair job, including loosing a custom seat and returning the bike in non-working order! Curtis cleaned up their mess, found several other problems, including safety issues they overlooked, and found replacement parts they said were on 3 months back order. Don't call WSW expecting a big showroom or fancy surrounds. What I got was an honest, hard working and fair businessman who KNOWS his trade!
Curtis and Mark are 2 of the best out there to work on Big Dog Motorcycles. They will help you in every way they can. Very knowledgeable about these bikes. They both have went above and beyond to help me several times, either by text, phone and even on the big dog form page.
If you have a Big Dog motorcycle, this is "the" best shop for you!
