Do not go here. Not professional at all. Him and his wife will cuss you out. He would not fix my tattoo that he messed up. He tattooed out of the lines his kids run around the tattoo area. He stopped tattooing to go smoke a blunt.
Just recently moved to Oklahoma and went to Michael for a tattoo for my birthday. I personally enjoyed the experience. it's a bit chaotic when you first walk in, but then it becomes fun. I loved his kids. yes they are kids though so it's going to be a bit louder. his wife was funny and they both made the experience enjoyable. they're tattoo artists in their own shop, so yes they do as they please. for me personally I enjoyed that. he cleaned everything and sanitized what he was using. it does smell like weed which may bother some, but to each their own in my opinion. I definitely want to go back for more ink and I really suggest giving them a chance. not only did I live my work, but I enjoyed a good laugh.
My wife had a large tattoo done on her arm. The price was cheap, and the quality was very good. But, the crap we had to deal with makes me feel like we barely came out ahead. First, he will be late for your "appointment," by at least an hour. The studio will make you feel like getting a tetanus shot. His professionalism is zero. Am I happy with our deal, yes. I had to ride his ass to finish it, but yes. Would I ever go again, lol. No thanks.
I was very pleased with my tattoos and experience! I will go back again for more! He is a very laid back guy and makes the experience fun and chill. I wouldn't go to anyone else. The prices are also very good! I've had three tattoos done by him!
He's shady. Took forever to get a drawing done. I went as far as asking for a refund on deposit, he refused but came up with it shortly after. His tattoo healed great but LOOKED LIKE CRAP. I wasn't too upset at first because I thought maybe my expectations were too high, but after getting comments from people like saying "oh, no ..who did that?! It's so bad" I knew it wasn't just me. I never went back in to get touch ups, instead went all the way to Dallas to get it redone and fixed. I was also SHOCKED to see a few weeks later, while looking through octopus images online, that he stole the drawing off another artists page. I saw my exact piece, that he said he designed, on another artists page, from a few years previously. He also goes around on fb doing 200 dollar deals and blocks everyone (including me) who steps in warning about him. Anyhow, it's no sweat off my back if you use him, but there are so many other artists to use, who aren't shady and do great work...and don't steal another artists work. Good luck with finding a great tattoo artist... you have been warned about this one.
They guy is a fine tattoo artist, but overall they are extremely unprofessional and were very rude to me. I needed a last minute touch up, but they were booked. So I went somewhere else, the touch up only took 10 minutes because my tattoo is a very simple design. Upon hearing I’d gone somewhere else, he was very rude to me, as if somehow I was in the wrong simply for getting a quick touch up at another clinic. Extremely unprofessional. Don’t recommend. The shop is super dirty and cringy. It may seem like a good deal but you get what you pay for. My tattoo that was started that I just needed color went fine (because the design was already there) the design he drew looks terrible and did not heal right. Lost most of its color. Tried to schedule a touch up appointment with him and he blocked me on Facebook and hung up on me multiple times. Was also asking me inappropriate questions during the entire session. His two kids running around touching everything. He just changed the shops name from wicked sticker to smokin rose tattoo. Same shop. New name. Avoid it. Pay a little more for a tattoo you will love that will last.
I was so grossed out. The place was dirty and unorganized. There kids ran around barefoot and had sniffles around the tattooing area. I love kids but I was shocked since it's generally a great goal to be sterile and clean in the area where tattooing occurs. Then I left after feeling rudely pushed away. I then had a friend tell me she had one done there and they were very unprofessional. She said the husband seemed flirty with her and it made her uncomfortable and he smoked a joint while tattooing her and everything seemed dirty when she went too. It didn't turn out the way she wanted but she was so uncomfortable she paid and left. She ended up getting a touch up done else where. I'm so glad I dodged a bullet with this one and other reviews are also telling me it was a good thing I didn't stay.
