Best WLM Reviews
Really friendly service at this Whole Foods along with a nice atmosphere.
The pizza was hot and fresh and the hot bar had good options.
They do not have Romain Lettuce in the salad bar for no reason I know of which was disappointing.
Also the bar in the back had what I consider a tacky bike theme. I have been to downtown coffee shops where they have real bikes on the wall but Whole Foods faked it in this tacky way.
I say use real bike parts or pick another theme.
Our local “Whole Foods” (or “Whole Paycheck” as some friends call it). My girlfriend occasionally likes to take Happy Hour here. On this occasion she had a chicken quesadilla; I had the fish & chips, which was pretty darn tasty, if not a bit too salty. The fish portions were delicious filets, lots of fish, not overly breaded. The serving is generous; I couldn’t finish all the fries. They have a reasonable selection of brews and wines, and you can always pick a bottle from the store’s wine selection for the bartender to serve you. That glass of white in the photo was from a bottle of La Vieille Ferme, a decent and inexpensive French table wine.
We were there on a Friday night. The bartender mentioned that the fish & chips are the weekend special: $2 off and it comes with a draught beer. I preferred white wine and so offered the beer to my girlfriend.
I've been to this particular Whole Foods Several times… I would call it almost like a whole food superstore….. It seems like it's a little bigger and newer…. It has a nice outdoor area for sitting and eating food from there prepared food area. They also completed a nice wine area and beer area each is about as big as a regular bar. They also have a smokehouse area and some great tasting barbecue.
In other ways it's a typical Whole foods with a large organic fresh fruit and vegetable area,a bakery, a hot food area, a deli area a meat area and a seafood area as well as typical amounts of organic dry goods. I am judicious about what I buy there and look for things of value that I can get is a prime member as well as things that I can't get other grocery I like their Icelandic yogurt and their organic fruit. They also have a good selection of lactose-free milk in organic grapefruit juice that I enjoy. Their bakery has things that I like from breakfast rounds to a specific type of English muffin to homemade baked bread and pastries that offer plenty of choices. They are a complete grocery store with an emphasis on organics.
Remember it's not about food only, It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. It's in a strip mall area so parking was plentiful but I could tell that it would fill up fast as it seemed to be one busy place.
I found that staff were more than willing to help me and most of the time would actually walk me to an area that I had questions about rather then just give me a general directions and send me on my way. The store was clean and well organized and They do a good job of trying to serve people the best way they can and make sure they have plenty of cashiers and a self check out area.
I’d love to rate this Whole Foods higher but I almost always have a problem with their pizza to go. They have a deal on Fridays, but they are always under staffed or under supplied, when they finally got my order right in a timely manner, it was over cooked and the crust was burnt.
Update: 6/15/2023. Had some really good nachos and carnitas tacos at the bar today.
We recently ate at the bar/cafe in the store and, well, the results were mixed. While the service, music, and ambiance were good, the food was not. The pub fish and chips were over-fried and the batter was overwhelming. The carnitas tacos were fine, but could have been seasoned better. The chips and quac were good. So, hopefully the next try there will be better.
Whole Foods provides consistently good service and unique, flavorful grocery items for sale. The bakery is quite good - notably the macaroons, lemon bars/tarts, and flourless chocolate cake. The cheese selection is also excellent. In addition, the gluten-free selection of products is good and quite extensive. The only relative negative is that the prices are fairly high, but I think they are mostly justified based on the good quality.
Here’s my issue with this Whole Foods: the bathroom. Tell me why the bathroom is like a trap house. It’s dark, dingy, the doors don’t lock which may be due to claustrophobia since the stalls are the same size as a coffin. After you survive the experience, you have 1 out of two sinks to choose from as one only drip drops when you turn it on. I expect if I’m choosing to shop at a place with $8 dollar apples and a fake membership that virtually saves you zero dollars every time so have a decent place to use the bathroom.
Fantastic selections at fantastically high prices.
I'm always overwhelmed by the selections and prices at this establishment.
It's not a destination but an experience.
Not my main source of groceries but well worth visiting occasionally for selected specialty items.
I frequent this location several times a week, some weeks almost daily. My favorite areas of the store are, produce, smoked meats, smoothie bar, and pizza. However, I must say certain areas have really gone downhill and it’s very disappointing. Let’s start with Pizza, this area started going to sh*t when they changed the recipe maybe a year ago. It used to be the best pizza in town, but gradually over the past year I can’t even eat it, just gross. I purchased prepackaged chicken noodle soup a few weeks back, there wasn’t a single noodle in the container. I tried it again last week and not a single piece of chicken. I used to love the smoked meats bar, today I can’t find much that looks appetizing. Things are broken and need to be fixed at this location.
