I’ve always had Whataburger back in Houston for many years. Moving to Louisiana I was skeptical if it’d taste the same due to Sulphur,La location disappointment. This Country Club location gets 5 out of 5 stars. From us driving into parking lot, parking, standing in line, ordering, waiting & then getting serviced we had an absolutely awesome experience. Everyone was friendly, helpful and the food tasted just like it always had back in Houston & just as it does coming home from a TX concert! Thanks LC for bringing me something I crave and can now drive near to!
The guy who took our order was nice.
We were the only customers for about 15 minutes. And everyone that came in and ordered after us got their food before us.
Waited 30 minutes for food to be brought out. Seemed like it had sat in the bag for that entire 30 minute wait. Burgers were soggy, fries were cold.
They were definitely not short staffed, because they had plenty of staff in the front just hanging out…. ????????♀️
Sadly just sat in line for 1 hour… All I ordered was chicken tenders and cinnamon roll, my box ended up having only 1 single chicken tender, no fries, no gravy, a toast, but hey they got the cinnamon roll… I wish I could get my money back, my time back would be preferred… (edit: failed to mention also the toast given to me was not the toast advertised, they gave me a single hamburger bun cut in falf)
I have been to this new location twice now. The first visit was just after the store opened and there were dozens of cars waiting in the drive through. Completely understandable, its a new place, people are excited to try it... Nearly and hour wait, and my order was wrong. This place was packed with staff, but order was still not correct.
Tried again today for breakfast. There were only 6 cars in the drive through, great! Well, not so much... 25 minute wait for 6 cars in front of me. I watched car after car pull out of the line from behind and leave. What a mess. Can't risk being late for work because the drive through was running so poorly. I saw a huge number of staff, just standing around in the building... They really need help. I would strongly suggest giving this location some time to work out the kinks before going if you are in any kind of hurry.
Very good fast food burger. Cashier was nice and burger was brought out quickly by a manager. Go during non-rush hours if you're wanting quick service. Dining room is surprisingly small and much of the staff is new and still learning the ropes, which would explain chaos during busy lunch and evening dinner hours.
Food was great, service was horrible. Called before we when because they never have the Dr. Pepper shakes. They said they had it. We go and order it right away and waited 15 minutes and I had to go ask what was taking so long and they tell me they are out. We ate most of our food with no drinks, the rest of our food got cold when I was waiting for someone to address my issue. Also there is no positive experience for customers, they are not greeted when taking an order. Kiddos to the kitchen, but the managers and register employees need customer service training. Also the line to talk to the manager was just as long as the ordering line.
10/10 for the service. The person at the register was doing great, asking appropriate questions and being quick. We went at a slower time of day, so the crowd was low, but a second register was open as a standby. The person who handed us our food was kind and checked in on us and was happy to get us ketchup when my partner realized we wanted some and got up to ask.
7/10 for the food. Burgers are up to the standard of what fast food burgers used to be (back when they were actually good), the fries are just below McDonald's, and the onion rings were serviceable.
A bit pricey, so won't be frequenting, but will add it to our rotation.
New location. There were 2 lines like most whataburgers. The main line moved much faster because they were able to order at the screen. The outside line had an inoperable screen and 1 person outside taking orders. The process was extremely slow. I sat in line for over 30 minutes. When my order came out they asked me to check it for accuracy, which I’m glad they did because I was absolutely ready to leave!! The order was missing 3 apple pies which took another few minutes to get. The atmosphere was chaotic, somewhat understandable but there was a lack of leadership overall.
