During a visit to South Carolina I discovered Wet Willie's and instantly wished there was one at home. Very simple but fun concept of having adult alcohol slushies is a definite win and they are very good especially when you mix and match flavors. I can't really speak to the food because I only had deep fried pickles which were very tasty. Fun place with refreshing drinks is a definite win.
What's not to like? Slushies for adults! And a wide variety of them as well! They were reasonably priced at around $12, and the staff were great and attentive. They also serve food, the fried pickles were terrific!
You can definitely taste the alcohol in the drinks (unlike Hurricanes on the Boardwalk), which isn't a problem, just letting anyone who may be doubtful know. This year, I got the Bob Marley, and my husband got the Attirude Improvement. Both are amazing. On the 2nd round, the bartender accommodated my husband's request for an orange-pineapple flavor and mixed 2 flavors. Delicious! Don't miss this place on your next visit to Broadway at the Beach!
This one is my man's favorite place. He has mad love for this. I love the food, because I'm not a drinker.
Amazing time at Wet Willie's. Our servers were very friendly and attentive. We weren't exactly sure what to get for dinner. We wanted something different, less expensive, that still had options for drinks. The slushy drinks were delicious and easy to get down, despite being so high proof. Our servers were great and offered us samples of pretty much every flavor and flavor combo you could think of. The price of drinks is reasonable, $12 for a large high proof daiquiri is a great deal. The food was also amazing. Curly fries were crispy and well seasoned, and the sliders that came with it were just as great! The bread was nice and fresh, the cheese melty, and the slider patties themselves were cooked to perfection. We both commented, "if this was closer to our house, we'd be regulars once a week". I wish I could remember the servers names because they were both fantastic. I'm not usually the type to leave reviews but we were both just so happy with our experience here.
We absolutely love this place! We liked it so much we came back three more days!!! Seriously so nice to walk in get a nice slushy then walk around Broadway!! What an awesome place!! The Bob Marley, Superman was hands down our favorite drink and the White Russian!!! They put cool designs on top also! Definitely check this place out super strong drinks and so much fun!!! Customer service is top notch here!!!!
At 2 in the afternoon, this place was busy! We had great service even though our server was super busy.
We ordered 3 different items to share, which was a great idea as it was needed not to get a brain freeze.
The food was good, but nothing spectacular.
Although we ordered 3 drinks, I only remembered to take a pic of mine. A Piña Colada, Weak Willy, and a Purple Haze. They all had good flavor.
The atmosphere and decor were fun and the bathrooms were large and clean.
Even though they were only serving appetizers. The food was hot and delicious. I loved the Bob Marley and the Superman were so refreshing. I love that they have sales on the cups. I will definitely be back again. The staff was friendly and warm. They entertained my students and gave them cute frisbees. They were reasonable. It's a great place for adults and kids. The fries and chicken tenders were awesome.
Keith did a great job he had so MANY different combos he is the master of daiquiri making!.. jello shots were outstanding! WO HOOOO
