Fantastic salon. Marilyn is amazing. She is quick, offers helpful and honest advice, and does an incredible job. I FINALLY found my new stylist after losing my previous choice at the beginning of the outbreak. Cash or Venmo only and know that Venmo takes 1.9% from them so consider that when you pay or intend to leave a tip.
Alex Gilbert is simply AMAZING!!! She is delightful to talk to, but also is so talented with color and cut. I constantly get compliments on my hair (which never happened before I had Alex as my stylist). I recommend West End and Alex to anyone who asks. Great vibe at the salon and everyone is super helpful and fun.
I was recommended by a good friend to go there after she got her hair balayage'd and liked it very much. So I went in to get a balayage done and a haircut by Lexie. She is by far the best hair dresser I have ever been to! I wanted a natural subtle balayage and I got exactly what I wanted. The haircut she gave me was the best I have ever received. I have a lot of hair so many stylists don't want to spend a lot of time on it to create great layers, but Lexie did an amazing job and worked her wonders on it and now I don't want it to look different anymore! Overall great experience, very clean and elegant salon. I would definitely recommend this place.
Monica has the one essential skill to be a great stylist. She listens. The salon is expert level, like Monica. Highly recommend.
